If we had it to do over again, we wouldn't be there, or at least not as we're doing things now. I think most people admit this. But what I don't understand is why the libs act as though they saw the whole thing coming.

What did they see, really? If the US were being invaded, I think the libs would put up some strong points about why we should allow ourselves to be taken over by a foreign invader. Maybe we deserved it or something. Why claim credit for that attitude?

I mean between their support for $.99 abortions at McDonald's and all the rich Dems adopting kids from other countries then screaming 'theres too many kids in orphanages and foster homes so more women should have abortions', they still have time to worry that we're hurting terrorists and the kids that try to walk up to soldiers with bomb strapped to their chest.

I just don't get it Dems, when is it exactly that your fabled patriotism kicks in?

Legislators flout their promises and even work against what they have assured the electorate. Some of them are highly corrupt and even indulge in crimes and get involved in criminal cases. Does any country (where there is democratic set up) has legal provision for their withdrawal by the people entailing fresh election for that constituency - in case he does not volunteer to resign on moral grounds after having come to adverse public criticism of serious nature nor his party pressurises him to resign?
If such a provision is available in any country, how often it has been used and with what impact - I mean if the need for such action reduced due to legislators behaving more righteously?

its been three months, and the DA's office never let's me know what is going on, however, if we were to go to trial, i do not think that I am able to be a witness. I just want to know if I can drop the charges now.

On the economy? Does anyone else understand that the this isn't just about potecting the livelyhood of the wealthy? When the economy suffers, in the end its not the rich that do the most suffering. Are you willing to put the hundreds of thousands of hourly workers on the street because you think CO2 might be causing animals to migrate north?

Have you ever complained about high gas prices? Do you not realize what people are suggesting will not only put gas prices through the roof, but electriciy and heating prices as well?

It's not about the rich guy, he'll be fine. It's about the average american that won't be able to afford to drive or keep warm.

As an engineer I can tell you, economic solutions to these problems are not going to happen in the near future. There are very real economic reasons why these miracle cars and power sources you hear about aren't being used.

I'm not saying i want to, but thats how ridicules the people that deny the holocausts ever happened sound.

How do they come up with this theory that it never happened when people were there, many were killed, some german soldiers went to jail for it... I mean come on, are these people more blind and dumb then hellen keller?

(yes i'm aware that keller was a different kind of 'dumb', and possibly didn't spell her name that way)

I have posted question asking for real personal problems and never got a valid one.
Illegal immigrants DO NOT get free health care. But they pay for SS benefits.
Illegal Immigrants DO NOT get un-employment. But they pay un-employment benefits.
Illegal immigrants DO NOT get paid under the table. But Americans on un-employment do.
Illegal immigrants use SS# at random but do not collect benefits from that number.
Americans use SS#'s and they use it for identity theft.
All the money spent on "illegal" in jail should be classified "money spent on criminals"
All the money spent on Illegal immigrant's children health and school should be classified "US citizen’s children expenses"

It boils down that all this hate against illegal immigrants is really an excuse for venting out racist feelings. So deal with it honestly at least.
Illegal immigrants in USA is like apple pie it has being here from the beginning and it will never leave.

THIS IS MY SECOND POSTING BECAUSE I NEED SOME LEGAL ADVICE............

This huge 135 lbs+ Pitt bull jumped in to my girlfriends swimming pool in the backyard and could not get out of the pool and she went to the neighbors but no one home than she called 911 and they took 15 min to arrive because it was only a dog ... so she got worried that the dog would drown so she tried to pull the big dog out and it bit her on her face so she stop trying to save it and hoped that they would arrive soon... the dog all most died and still might die the vet said anyway the owners are charging her with animal cruelty ......And my girl has 11 stitches.....Can they actually do this?

No terrorists threats to the continental US back then. Oil was relatively cheap back then so we didn't need that. We knew Saddam had some posion gas but he couldn't use it against the US because he had no way to deliver it. The US military had Saddam surrounded with the no fly zones. So can anyone tell me why the Neo Cons wanted to invade Iraq so many years before 9/11? (and don't say to bring democracy to the Iraqi people because nobody would have been sent to Iraq for just that.)

Hello Everyone,

I have one issue related to H1B visa stamp on my passport.

In my indian passport, I have a visa stamp valid through Nov 2007. That stamp is from my previous employer-A. My new employer-B has transferred my visa with them and I started working with them. I have all the required papers related to my visa transfer to my new employer.

Now my question is, do i need to stamp on my passport for my new employer if i leave USA and re-enter it after 2 week's vacation? Remember, I still have valid h1-b stamp on my passport but it is from my old employer and currently i am working with my new employer.

Please advice.

My ex is a jerk and my hubby went by their house and dropped a letter in their mail box to let them know of our upcoming plans for the holiday and we just received a call from the county sherriffs dept. that my ex wants to make a report that my hubby tampered with his mail box and that it is a federal offense (I know that tampering with mail is). But seroiusly how much trouble can you get into for dropping off a letter in someones mail box? The content is not in dispute, there was nothing in the letter that would cause alarm or concern, just an informative letter on the holiday schedual. But what could be in store for us?

The collection plates are full. The Catholic Church has millions for lawsuits, but what don't they have is any money to give to the poor people of Mexico ? Why want the Cathlolic's take care of each other ? What is the point of offering guns, when what people may need is education and food? An example: Colombia. Many of the problems in Colombia would be better tackled if the millions of dollars sent in military stuff were invested in assuring a diversification of the agricultural activities.
