If drafted, even at my age, I do my duty again...
though, erudite (nice to see you hiding under another name yet again), we know you would not have such honor as to serve

I already have fought for 12 months in Iraq and I didn't need a draft to get me to do it. I think anyone that doesn't go is a source of shame for our country. I would have never let the draft dodgers back in the country if I were the president, good riddance.
If there was a draft tomorrow, the veterans that have already finished their time would be the first to go anyways, so after they are exhausted I sure as hell hope someone would have the courage to step up and take their place, since whatever's going on is obviously a threat.
In short, it's not a question. Fight for what you believe in or leave.

Not for sure. Those sit in the top only **** on you by sending/drafting a proposal to send you to Iraq. How can your bare the pain of leaving your kids/family for somebody’s mistake.
Those who made the mistake are ready to go war field? If it is saving yourown nation it is must, but for killing or disturbing others ???

Nope, I'm from Spain not from the U.S. I don't think they draft foreigners, but if they do, then I would go I guess, I'd be doing service for the country in which I live. The real question is:Would you help your country by going to draft?

No. I don't want to be responsible for taking someones son/father/brother/nephew away from them. There is no way I would be able to live with myself.
If I was drafted, I would flat out refuse, and go to prison like a common criminal.

I would be scared to death but everything happens for a reason. I would go it i what is right and if we were chosen i guess it was what we were meant to do. If people just said no than we wouldn't be the country we are today.

What can a young man do but go...do they have a choice...it's nice to talk ideology and such, but they either go or go to jail...the war must be just, not just for the rich
