When states joined the union, they agreed to a contract, in which they pledged complete alliance with the union. This was the whole argument that brought about the civil war. The South felt that they had been underrepresented in the presidential election, and that what they thought didn't matter, so they attempted to break away from the union. The fact is, every state has depended on the union at some point or another as a result of joining our country, and they cannot drop their end of the contract that they agreed to, no matter how unappealing the country looks right now (and I agree, there are some serious problems).

I do indeed wish that everyone who misinterprets the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment would indeed get out of this country. I am currently in California and I am agnostic but I am not persecuted by this country. If you and a majority of other Californians want to secede and do so then I'll gladly move back to my original home in Missouri.

What you propose is impossible. These aren't colonial days and there is no union. If California wants to refuse all federal funds, forfeit the protections of the military, invade federally owned land, and basically declare war on the US, try it.

Take a government primer and you will discover that the President would instantly federalize your national guard, leaving you with sheriffs and local police as protection. You think you are opressed now, you can't imagine what would happen if your wish came true.

Hell definite. they have a larger economic equipment than maximum international locations. CA is ranked eighth best economic equipment interior the international. in truth i imagine the finished US might want to split right into a minimum of 6 diverse international locations. or not that's more beneficial for the human beings in those new international locations and bigger for international peace. the U. S. because it stands is the most threatening u . s . to international peace and prosperity. supply the Latinos Texas, New Mexico and Arizona decrease back. supply the yankee Indian their personal u . s .. some midwest states and some southern states can merge right into a rustic. so as that they're going to be loose to have incest of their trailer parks :) dumb *** hicks. The northeast is for us non racist, wise human beings.

California is not united and has to many differernt grouops of people with different interest; i.e. rural vs urban, native vs immigrant; northern vs LA, Christian vs Materialism, etc. A state with so many competing interest and internal conflict would have no united voice in going at it alone. More likely, California should split into several states.
