For the left Powell's endorsement is not any genuine project--they have been going to vote for Obama besides. yet for moderates, and in step with probability even some classic conservatives, his endorsement is an significant indication to those uncertain of a thank you to vote that the Democratic selection is the main suitable one. In that experience, the "have confidence" for Powell among those on the left is immaterial. i will't help noting nonetheless that there is a undeniable perverse excitement from people who help Obama with this endorsement, and a undeniable unreasonable fury between people who help McCain. Cheers.

Because we are!!!
The US military is of the weakest in the world. The American armed forces have lost every war that the US has been involved in prior to WW2 (yes withdrawing is a form of surrender). In the Iraq war the US has had more casualties than the opposition. Furthermore, the opposition has not surrendered nor will they ever, thus the US will be forced into submission (either forced to withdrawal or honorably surrender). The Iraq war will be another loss just as Vietnam was.

because he's one of the few honest Republicans left in this country and as a General he knows what he's talking about but Bush is too stupid to listen. Colin, become a Democrat and you will win the Presidency easily

We havent found 1 weapon of mass destruction, Bin Laden is still loose, and thousands have died. The only positive has been capturing Sadam, but his court proceedings are a dog and pony mockery.

because we can't win the hearts and minds of the lands that we occupy. If they really felt we were freeing them, or helping them free themselves, I think things would be different.
