As it is now, at least in the United States, if you go to the hospital, you end up with several bills by multiple entities. Not only is it annoying, but it is also confusing when you include health insurance involvement. It really gets out of hand if you have multiple visits. Hence, if legislation were introduced that would require hospitals to simplify their billing procedures by consolidating everything into just one bill, would you support it?

I have recently gone back to school to better my earning capacity to take care of my children. I have been told that because I am a convicted felon I will not be employable and therefore the imputed income is my job at a bagel shop. The guy who took 34 minutes to die, or the electric chair etc, many say those who get the death penalty should be a completely painless death, is it forgotton that those people are murderers? What if they killed your mom or daughter, very very slowly and tortured to death. They are getting it for murder, why are people thinking they deserve a quick painless one? If anyone in your family was slowly tortured to death, would you want the murderer to get the easy way out?

Okay, my ex, EX boyfriend and I have been broken up for about a year or so. I had a cell phone on his plan, as an extra number. I wasn't on the account anywhere, and didn't sign anything. Shortly after we broke up, I cancelled my phone number w/them. There was a final bill that was really high, and he keeps harrassing me about it, even though I've told him I can only pay on it when I get extra money. He thinks he can sue me, but I think not, since I was never on the account. Which is true?
Also, he was buying a tv for me, and his grandfather wanted it, so he took that one, and I got the grandfather's old one. The ex just emailed me today and said he wants "his" tv back, and when can he come over to get it. I said too bad, it was a gift. It's my property.
I'm just trying to find out if I am in the right about both of these issues.
No offense, but if you dont' know for sure, please don't answer with an opinion, I have enough of those. ;)

my mom just got into an accident. someone hit her and ran. she was only able to catch first 3 letters on the plate, and just the fact that it's an old convertible, beige car. the whitness went chasing after the car but never returned. i called the police and they said without the plate they cant do the report. well, the coverage is only liability, which means the insurance won't cover the cost of damage. i am trying to locate the car and i know there are websites for that. also what cars match the description. we're talking old cars (1980's). any ideas? ps: it all happened in NY
