TRADITONAL VALUES OF FREEDOM AND LIBERTY???
I have been thinking about this for some time. Why would residents of the United States fight so hard to destroy everything this Country stands for??????

They see themselves as rich citizens of the world, and not as Americans first. The world is flat and all that.

I think when people look back at this era, they will agree that Bush may have had good intentions but was a poor leader. You can't unite a country to fight for a common cause when you disregard the matters of most importance to a large segment of the population.
Bush has managed to give every liberal in this country a wedgie by trampling over issues of liberty and human rights, as if they are of no importance whatsoever. He seems to have forgotten that liberals have a set of traditional values of their own.
I think the country sorely needs a leader who commands mutual trust.

I am also a Reagan Republican. Not a neo-con, but conservative.

Ask the ACLU. They are the ones suing for removal of a cross in San Diego that has stood for more than 100 years.
I'd say that was trying to negate tradition.
