Wars have been around since the first man picked up a rock. That is not likely to change. Vietnam was a huge benefit to EXXON, General Motors, General Dynamics, Dow Chemical.
Iraq is doing fine by Halliburton, General Dynamics Boeing. Well, you get the picture. War is generally purely economic. A great depression was ended by getting a good war going.

What can be so bad that you continually live in war? Can't be a "natural" act, I don't accept that thought. There are people who can not let others live by there own choice's in life. I would say the benefit of war is the disillusion of what is right when they don't know.

Some wars may never be "winable" and then no one benefits but everyone fights with the premise of beating the other guy.
