Okay, my ex, EX boyfriend and I have been broken up for about a year or so. I had a cell phone on his plan, as an extra number. I wasn't on the account anywhere, and didn't sign anything. Shortly after we broke up, I cancelled my phone number w/them. There was a final bill that was really high, and he keeps harrassing me about it, even though I've told him I can only pay on it when I get extra money. He thinks he can sue me, but I think not, since I was never on the account. Which is true?
Also, he was buying a tv for me, and his grandfather wanted it, so he took that one, and I got the grandfather's old one. The ex just emailed me today and said he wants "his" tv back, and when can he come over to get it. I said too bad, it was a gift. It's my property.
I'm just trying to find out if I am in the right about both of these issues.
No offense, but if you dont' know for sure, please don't answer with an opinion, I have enough of those. ;)
Thank you.

you're probably better off just giving him his TV back and writing him off for good. you'll have more peace of mind, anyway

He can sue you for the phone bills if he can provide proof that the calls you made went oer the minutes allowed on the plan.
You have to provide proof of when you cancelled your number and of course how much toward the bill you were paying in the first place

As for the TV, yes it was a gift. Tell him if he wants it, he has to pay you for it.
