Believing in something gives hope to people ... Religion was and is mans way of controlling the masses. Someday their will come a day when humans are extinct but the world will continue on like it has for the last 4 billion years.

AHHH, THE FAVORITE SUBJECT WHENEVER THE MIDDLE EAST BLOWS UP. ARMEGEDON. HERE IS ONE THEORY TO MULL OVER. THE SUN BECOMES A RED GIANT AND TORCHES NEARLY ALL THE PLANETS IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM. THAT SHOULD HAPPEN IN A COUPLE OF BILLION YEARS.
ALSO, IF IT IS MEANT TO BE BY OUR OWN HAND AND IS PREORDAINED BY THE BIBLE, THERE IS REALLY NOTHING ANYONE CAN DO ABOUT IT IS THERE??

Well the world's gonna end sometime, even atheists believe that because there is a theory where the universe keeps on contracting then expanding (banging) forever and ever. (and we're in the expanding period right now)
As for the Bible's standpoint on the end of the world, yes I do.

I believe that one day the world will end but not by stones or water. The Bible says that the world will end by fire. So in a way I do believe that one day Armageddon will happen.
