b) Red foxes will learn how to play chess and will all lug around tiny chess boards, waiting for the next human to pass by so they can challenge them to a game.

I recently bought plane tickets from a friend of my grandmother who is a travel agent. She told me the price was $235 so I gave her my check card number. A couple days later, I checked my balance online and it was $25 less than it should have been. Upon checking the past purchases I noticed that this lady had taken $235 out then later that day she charged another $25. I called her to find out why she did this. She said it was her fee. i told her she didnt make me aware of this and I didnt authorize her to take the extra money out. She said there was nothing I could do. My question: what can I do about this? It isnt the $25 that bothers me its that she took it out without notifing me plus she is s friend of my grandmothers and tthey live in a small town in IA. Should I just suck it up and just not use her again or should I do something else to prove to her that what she did was wrong?

Recently my boyfriend and I have fell victim to someone elses dumb mistake. We had a storage unit which contained not on all of our household goods but many non replaceable priceless personal items. Unfortunately, our unit was accidentally auctioned off in a public auction. It was done because of an employee who failed to make documentation (so were told) of correspondance between myself and the storage facility. There for rendering our belongings as abandoned. We are just devistated over this. No one can ever replace many of the items, not even with money. We had well over $30,000 in household items that are now gone. What type of attorney would I contact in order for legal recourse?

I would like to get some opinions on this. I understand that congress is trying to pass a bill taking citizen ship away from children born in the U.S. to illegal immigrants, so if citizen ship is taking away from them even though they were born in the U.S., so what country are they going to be citizens of? Its not the childs fault. I feel if they pass that law that there are going to be alot of confuse young adults in this world. I feel if they can take citizen ship from someone born in the U.S. then who is to say they want take my citizen ship away or my mothers, even though all our family was born and raised in the U.S. Help me understand this, please?

I have engaged in political debate with friends over the years, and I am coming to the realization that, on most issues, where a difference exists, it is usually because two people value different things. For example, to ask if unions are a "good" thing is too vague to be useful. The question is whether one is primarily concerned with workers, or with owners/shareholders. Nonetheless, I hear politicians debating vaguely over whether a policy is good or bad, every day. Why not just acknowledge that policy A is good for these people with these interests, and policy B is good for those people with those interests?

Here is a scenario, tell me if this is considered a "tax cut for the rich":

Joe and Mike are both widgetiers. they are widget experts, who make the same hourly wage.

Joe likes to work about 25-30 hours a week. He likes the free time he has left to go fishing, camping, and various activities. At the end of the year, Joe's income adds up to be 30,000 dollars before taxes.

Mike likes to work 10-12 hour days, and works the weekends whenever possible to collect overtime. He rarely does anything other than work. He averages about 80-85 hours a week. Mikes income at the end of the year (due to overtime wages) is about 85,000 before taxes.

Tax time rolls around.

In year 2010 Joe paid 3,000 dollars in taxes. (This comes to about 10 percent of his income

In year 2010 Mike paid25,000 dollars in taxes, since he is in a higher tax bracket. (this comes to about 30 percent of his income)

Now a new law only makes mike pay 20,000 dollars (around 23 percent of his income)

My caterer for my wedding did a horrible job, she breached the contract by not serving everything on the menu that we went over. She showed us pictures of how the set up would look and it wasnt anything like the pictures, it was very bare. The food was served cold and was not good . She is not not responsing to my emails and ha ssaid she will not compensate us for her mistakes. SHe has been very rude and unresponsive. We have the contract that she did not uphold, photos of the food as well as photos of her exapmles that dont look anything like what she showed us, the emails we sent her after the wedding as well as the one i received back when she blocked my email adress so i could no longer speak with her. I have been very nice and patient with her and she has continuely been rude. should i take her to small claims court and try to get a partial refund?

I don’t think there is a right or wrong answer for this I just want to hear people’s ideas. Recently a soldier died in Iraq, the family of that soldier sued and won against yahoo for his email password. So here’s the thing, what rights does a dead person have? Was it ethical for the judge to order this? What about the people’s privacy who wrote this person? I know what I think about it, I just want to hear what others think of this.
