That can happen, but what the media will show is the violent behavior, typically.

Plenty. Yeah.. There are always the crazy, upset, overweight females that need attention so they go spastic and people find it funny... Or whatever.
I've traveled from campus to campus for anti war rallies. I am using the notes as a final project for the Spring semester. Every anti war rally I have been at on a campus has always peaceful. They're usually outside an English or History department as well... They give out free soup, coffee, or whatever else they have there to offer. Many soldiers telling war stories or selling books about their war experience. Alot more than you have to offer I can tell you that!

Sure. I was against invading Iraq. We had a peace march around a nearby city. Pro-war people showed up to protest us, but we were all very calm and the group leaders of each group shook hands and everything. I actually spoke with one of the people for the war at length, and I believe we both left the conversation feeling a bit more open minded. But it was a great experience, overall.
No one screamed or threatened, although many people held signs that said "Attack Iraq? No!" The pro-war people also had signs that they displayed.

In San Diego before the 1st GW, I actually got one to attack me so I could have him arrested. Me and several pro-troop people had stolen the usual anti-war place and they asked us to move, we told them to piss off. Then as they held their march this one jerk with a pet parrot on his shoulder made obscene gestures everytime he past by. His last time he flipped the bird and I told him thats was what me and his mom did last night. He went nuts and attacked me. I took him out and the cops arrested him. Most fun I had that year.

Yeah. I have, quite a few times. They're loud, yes, because there are A LOT OF PEOPLE AGAINST WAR!!!!!! It isn't violent. And when it is, that's usually because the pigs (well, in the 60s) show up and start trouble.
I went to one where twelve people just stood with signs and held candles (at the site I was at; there were a few).

Of course! Most of them are peaceful. It's just that the ones that get televised are the ones that are exciting and "newsworthy", when things get out of hand.
I've participated in several peaceful anti-war rallies. People give speeches, sing songs, and then walk about the city with signs.

There are many peaceful rallies. Some involve shouting and screaming, but if that upends your definition of "peaceful" then mall shopping must equate global warfare.

Literally dozens. I haven't seen any that have erupted into violence. But if they did/do, it is probably because some meat headed war monger is threatening them and calling them *******.
pedohunter....what a load of crap. Did you hurt your back shoveling that much?
