Amitabh Bacchan proved himself as a good actor, person, father, statesman, parliamentarian during short stint as MP. If given a chance can he be a good Prime Minister of India?

This question would have been more appropriate in the 1980's and he did take a first step then. However but certain malicious people somehow involved him in the Bofors scandal and clearly he was out of his depth to extricate himself from this. The same people who worship him and sing praises today were calling him a traitor of the nation then. The experience made him so bitter that he made a statement that "I am apolitical ". However good the man maybe the bitterness never left him. However with political clout from his home state UP some opportunistic people/politicians and now friends saved him from financial ruin and disgrace when his ABCL venture turned turtle. He is therefore now indebted towards them and has to run this charade of going to the people.He would never hold an political office in future by choice.

Amitabh Bacchan is a good Actor, may not be necessarily a good Prime Minister. He has not shown anything to prove that he is good statesman or a parliamentarian. But any one can run the Government since the Government in India is run by trained bureaucracy and equally efficient Judiciary.

He failed even as a good MP. Basically he is a businessmen seeks money by giving poses before cameras, for which he never exibited any values. Recently he was seen in a love song along with his son and wold'be daughter-in-law..........That may be his level. Can we expect such a person as PM ?
You see no cinema personality succeeded in politics. Though with glamour grabbed positions in the first time, later most of them were rejected by the people.

Certainly not, Amittabh has demonstrated to be smart and sharp with business acumen while generally Prime Minister of India, are opposite.

hey ab as prime minister of india well idea is like bollywood but in reality its like indias performance in asian games atlethics.a prime minister must be man/woman of courage,should have the guts to face the line of fire etc,its not just any post remember,its pm post of india,so dont ask or spread blunders ,no offense and illwishes brother

We need a good Economist, Diplomat n experienced person in External Affairs/Foreign Affairs, I don't think we need an actor for that ??
