I am truly getting sick with ignorant people classifying all illegal immigrants as Mexican. Dirty mexicans and the list goes on. Saying that they are innately criminals? What then does that make the people who break laws every day in the U.S? It makes the majority criminals. It is just so short sighted that's all.

I've noticed a link between how blacks were treated as slaves. They weren't even referred to as real people. Inferior. Innately dirty and criminals. We all know this isn't true, yet you see people reverting to our nations horrible racist roots.

If you are racist you don't belong in Yahoo answers extolling how people who come to the U.S. out of necessity to work and support their families across "political" borders - dirty and criminals. I think racists are dirty and criminals. On another note, many immigrants are not from Mexico at all. And yes some racists will say "what's the difference?" Well my friend how would YOU like to be called a non-american?

With China's fast expanding economy and growing global influence, and with the remarkable economic recovery of Russia under Vladimir Putin. Also with Europe's growing dependence of gas and energy from Russia. Will these two countries become eventually a threat to the U.S. and U.S. global influence, considering as well that these two countries still have their stockpile of nuclear weapons?.

If Germany's invasion of Russia was successful during World War II. Would there be a Cold War after that?. Or would it turn to be a Cold War between Germany and U.S.?. or would it be only Germany as superpower?. or only U.S. as superpower?.

I dont get it, he has 2 years experience in the Senate, and has done absolutley nothing for the people of Illinois. i hate to say it, but i think its because hes the first black man to run that is backed by the democratic party. im not a racist, but im not blind. im sure there are people that will challenge that statement here. but thats to be expected, i just think the president, no matter how well spoken, should have a little more that 2 years of experience. even if he did something good in those 2 years (again, hes done nothing), in my opinion hes still not ready.

Hate groups, while not as visibly prominent as they used to be, still exist, and are a nuisance to most of society. These groups have even gone as far as murder (the KKK would be a prime example) to spread their message of hate.

These groups have been legally able to secure permits through legal means to march, claiming their rights are protected under the First Amendment's right to assemble. However, their message is one of hate, no matter what words they choose to use in public. Hate speech is not protected under the First Amendment right to Free Speech.

So here's the question: Should all hate groups be illegal, and their members able to be arrested whenever they appear at public gatherings, because their message is not protected and offensive? Or should groups like these still have a legal right to march, even though they spread hate?

For those who are interested, here is a list of known hate groups:

Five Qassam rockets were fired with impunity by Muslim terrorists from Gaza Tuesday into Israel’s Western Negev. No one was hurt.

The Palestinians have fired 25 missiles since the “cease fire” was declared last month. Israel has observed the cease fire precisely, while their enemies are continuing to attack innocent Israeli civilians.

Why does Israel not fight back?

It is a federal offense for Americans to commit war crimes. The War Crimes Act (1996) places various Hague, Geneva and Nuremberg protocols within U.S. law and authorizes the death penalty (also lesser penalties) for war criminals. The Justice Department clearly can proscecute, but would not be likely to charge government officials with war crimes. So who else can bring charges under this law? If a federal grand jury, can one be called without recourse to the Justice Department? (There are other tribunals for foreign war criminals such as the Taliban and al-Qaida, and their leaders.) In short, who can bell the cat?

Trying to become a police officer but i'm not sure how to respond to the drug questions. I plan on admitting that i have smoked marijuana a few times in the past mainly in high school but I have also tried cocaine a couple times all before when I was 19. I'm now almost 23 and havent had anything to do with drugs since then but I have a feeling admititng that I have tried cocaine a handful of times will automatically disqualify me but at the same time I dont want to lie or falsify my application. Being a cop is definetly what I want to do with my life and I dont want the mistakes of my college years to stop me from doing this so should I be honest and hope they respect that or try to get around it?

I recieved a citation for "displaying fictitious number plate" (Colorado Statute 42-3-121(1)(b))
The plate that was on the car belonged to the previous owner, she just told me to keep the plate...I know that's risky...NOW! HAHA!
But, the question I have for you, when he gave me the citation, and told me about my court date, he just ripped off my copy and gave it to me. I never signed it, he never asked me to. There is definatly a place for me to sign it. It says "My signature, with payment and within 20 days, is an acknowldegement of guilt....
and "My signature without payment, is a promise to appear in court". Now, there was no fine, just a court date. Is this valid since I didn't sign it at all? If not, what should I do??

Is it true they are forced to be on the jury and get paid almost nothing. What if they make a decent amount of money and are stuck with a 6 month case? Do they go into bankruptcy cause can't pay bills?

If its true, I find it interesting that they are forced to get paid nothing. But the lawyers, judges, etc get paid and live a life of luxury, including mahogony office, wood paneling, etc. Something not right there.
