I have seen some conservatives argue that Bush deserves to be respected just because he is the president. However, something tells me that these same people didn't think that Clinton deserved respect when he was the president.

If so, I hope it's Oscar the Grouch, he strikes me as a leader. Sure he's kind of a prick, but what president in history wasn't.

Few men alive today have committed crimes or caused a number of deaths equal to any of these three. Although it's unlikely the U.S. will prosecute them, when they lose immunity after leaving office, what will stop a justice system outside the U.S. from prosecuting them? (Well, I suppose it would be the fear of having done to them what was done to Iraq.)

Do you remember that movie, where the American guy got imprisoned in Turkey for possession of Hashish, and how he eventually escaped and returned home to the USA ?

Whatever happened to that guy after his return home ?
Did he ever write a book about his life after his return ?

Was he ever able to return to 'normal' after his ordeal in a Turkish prison ?
That movie really showed how strange the Turkish justice system worked, I wonder if it's any different now !!!

He wants to join the army to be a "MP". I really feel that is a good choice, but he is a little upset @ me right now because I will not let him sigh papers right now. His B-day is not until Sept. and They are feeding him a bunch of lines (just to get their commision). Another thing is he and his father do not get a long and his dad said you will never make it...which makes him want to do it even more. What (as a mother) should I do? I am scared to death for him. Once you sign you are theirs.

I am not a fan of Rush but he made me think, and he made me mad. and I actually agree with him this time. Here's what he said " I think the vast differences in compensation between victims of the sept. 11th casualty and those who die serving our country in r profound. no one is really talking about it either, because you just dont criticize anything having to do with sept 11th. well, I can't let the numbers pass by because it says something really disturbing about the entitlement mentality of this country. if you lost a family member in the sept.11th attack, you're going to get an average of $1,185.00. the range is a minimum guarantee of $250,000, all the way up to $4.7 million. If you are a surviving family member of an american soldier killed in action, the first check you get is a $6,000 direct death benefit, half of which is taxable. Next you get $1,750 for burial costs. if you are the surviving spouse, you get $833 a month until you remarry. and theres a payment of $211 per

1. How would you feel?
2. What would you say?
3. What actions would you take in that very moment to try and stop it from happening, if any? (Not everyone is a Good Samaritan and sometimes it is NOT advisable to put yourself in danger)
4. If you were not able to help at that moment, would you find any satisfaction in knowing that the person doing the killing would be condemned by society and would most likely get their due punishment from the law, giving some consolation and a feeling of justice to you and to others?
5. Would you feel somewhat protected knowing that legal punishment would also increase the chances that the person would not be free among our society to do it again to someone else?

I've tried using Courtlink to search for a docket, but it's Worker's Comp, which isn't an option for Courtlink. I went with Superior, and was given a list of counties, all of which were unavailable.

It's NJ, in Essex County. Thanks.
