They're "dumber than rocks" because they almost exclusively get all of their knowledge from Yahoo Answers.

First of all, not everyone on here is in the same country. Second, not everyone here is immature (although many are!). But making gross generalizations is no better than what they are doing! Ignore the jerks and focus on the issues.

It goes back to ancient Roman times- feed the masses "bread and circuses" If the people are full of food and mindless entertainment than they can be controlled.... so give us food (we are fat statistically) and lots of mindless entertainment (can we say TV and overpaid athletes?) so that we will not think for ourselves and cause any trouble for the people in power (career politicians)!

Our society has gone from one of book readers to one of "Friends" watchers. We text message one another about inane things consuming our time with doing nothing, really.
The internet is the one great hope, it has drawn those of use WITH intellect to express ourselves against those without intellect. The biggest problem is the latter group still votes from time to time.
