Do you remember that movie, where the American guy got imprisoned in Turkey for possession of Hashish, and how he eventually escaped and returned home to the USA ?

Whatever happened to that guy after his return home ?
Did he ever write a book about his life after his return ?

Was he ever able to return to 'normal' after his ordeal in a Turkish prison ?
That movie really showed how strange the Turkish justice system worked, I wonder if it's any different now !!!

Perhaps our Turkish friends can explain about the human right abuses in Turkish prisons. Like the F-type cells described below. I am amzed at the Turks everyday. Instead of the citizens to get furious over their governement's abuses they get upset with the EU and others pointing out the abuses. The Turkish people should wake up and push for more democracy.

All BS. I bet you haven't ever visited Turkey or had any Turkish friends. If you want to learn for instance Turkish countryside culture see the movie "dondurmam Gaymak".

Aha by the way. I should really congratulate your prisons full of harsh homosexual attitudes, violence, drugs and especially police department for their kindness to black people and finally noone forgets the abroad prisons such as Ebu-Garip. We've all these news from last night movies. Are you NORMAL today yet or still american?

I suppose today it is different. I don't think prisons in today's Turkey are as bad as then.
