AUSTIN, TX – The Young Conservatives of Texas - University of Texas Chapter announced that they will be displaying an “ACLU Nativity Scene” on the West Mall of the University of Texas campus. The group’s intent is to raise awareness on the extremity of the ACLU, and bring to light its secular-progressive efforts to remove Christmas from the public sphere. The display, the first of its kind in the nation, will feature characters that are quite a bit different than the standard crèche.
“We’ve got Gary and Joseph instead of Mary and Joseph in order to symbolize ACLU support for homosexual marriage, and of course there isn’t a Jesus in the manger,” said Chairman Tony McDonald. “The three Wise Men are Lenin, Marx, and Stalin because the founders of the ACLU were strident supporters of Soviet style Communism. The whole scene is a tongue-in-cheek way of showing the many ways that the ACLU and the far left are out of touch with the values of mainstream America.”
The scene will also display a terrorist shepherd and an angel in the form of Nancy Pelosi.
They claim that this is in response to what they believe is a “War on Christmas being waged by the far-left in this country.”
Really, who is waging war on Christmas and making a mockery of this celebration?

Indonesia, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, the 3 largest Muslim countries on earth, all have democratically ELECTED female Prime Ministers/President/head-of-the-government in the recent past. The question then arises - Are the Muslim women better than the US women ? Or are US women discriminated against ?

A friend of mine has to go be interviewed at the probation department before his felony trial date. He has never been in trouble before and it was a nonviolent offense. Does anyone know the purpose of these interviews and what kind of questions will be asked and what responses can help or hurt his case.

To finish the story, he really is worried that if he tries to do the "right thing" that it will open a can of worms that may not be able to be shut again. Things are peacefull and hes doing well here. He has a good job aqnd family to support his efforts. We all know whats up and are in a fix with the whole thing. What really is "the right thing " here? Going back to a state that isnt even actively looking for him or staying silent.

E.g. America put up the Shah (dictator) of Iran in 1953. He overthrew a democratically elected president.
Islamic revolution finally overtrew HIM in 1979.

Iraq wrongly invaded.
Don't get me started on Palestine.

America and the west (I live in Europe actually) have put the Arabs through hell for hundreds of years.

If they kill them selves they are allledgedly interpreting the Qu'ran wrongly.
The suicide bombers die for what they think is right.
SO, isn't that why they say they are doing it in the name of Allah?

Well?

....and it would be awesome to see their faces at such a meeting and just as interesting to know who will be a part of such talks besides Blair, Bush, Rice, Presidents Ahmadinejad of Iran and Bashar Al-Assad of Syria..
I'd suggest Iran and Syria will have their own "conditions" also. Blair and Bush don't really retain the same respect as they did a few years back do they.
but there will be 'talks' sooner rather than later...
----------------------------------------------------
BBC News last update Thursday, December 7, 2006 Bush: No early Iran-Syria talks

Bush and Blair presented a united front.

US President George W Bush has ruled out early talks with Iran and Syria on tackling Iraq's unrest, after meeting Tony Blair at the White House.
The two leaders agreed that a new way forward was needed on Iraq.

But they said Iran and Syria would have to be clear they backed a non-sectarian democratically elected government in Iraq and ended support for terrorism.

I'm trying to catch up on research and the more I read on the Iraq Study Group, the more I see we are actually going to get into more of a mess.

They are wanting to basically get into bed with Iran and Syria now in their 'solution'.

Is it just me or is it not obvious that the Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds are screaming out that they need and want to be divided... that they have no desire to live side by side to each other?

Why not put our efforts into deriving separate borders... 3 independent nations?

What's the problem with this idea? Why isn't it being taken serious? Or is it just too easy?
