Relax signing your SSn on a little card means nothing. You are not in the USMC until you sign a contract, and beside they knew your SSN, they dont need you to tell them.

Oh no!!!!!!!! You just joined for 4 years of active service! The M.P.s should be coming for you soon dont worry its not that bad. You will have lots of fun. Start running now and get in shape. No IM just kidding what you gave that recruiter is nothing more than a reference card with youre name phone number and possibly address. Age and probably year graduating. They will go to there ofice and stick it in a box with a bunch of others. Everytime there bored theyll call everyone to see whos still interested. I was a Marine and did recruiters assistance like three times. Thats what they use as a reference. Besides they got all that info anyway. From you High School. Oh yeah Im pretty sure you didnt put youre ssn on it they dont need it.

Putting your SSN should be no big deal. There are a lot of paperwork that need filled out before you are enlisted. If you are looking at after college then you would want to go as an officer and that requires a commission from the president. I think even if your SSN is on that card then no worries. Not if your illegal or wanted......

If you put your SSN the contact card it means nothing. He just needs to know how to contact you, and he probably aready knows. The answer above says you could be put into the military tracking computer system, but that can only be done with your signature/consent. Don't sweat it, go and talk with him and see what he has to say.

It doesn't matter because a little card can't bind you to the military, you have to go to MEPS and sign an actual contract, he just wanted contact information, the most he could do with your social is put you into the recruiting computer system that would have just some basic info about you for future reference, don't sweat it.

It probably doesn't, but don't worry. Even if you wrote your SSN on it, you are not obligated into anything. And, generally, the U.S. military takes precautionary measures not to leak out personal confidential information such as social security numbers.

It doesn't matter, you are going to sign up for selective service when you turn 18 years of age. All of the armed forces will be contacting you requesting your duty.
