dont these world leaders understand that if there is a war, it's not them that are necessarily going to be harmed... it is the innocent people that live under their rule!?

On Monday of this week my entire checking account was frozen and every penny taken out due to a garnishment order. I have never recieved word from anyone at the bank even though they claim they sent the papers to me. I did get a notice from the St. Louis, Missouri sherrif that my checking account was to be garnished, but the paper was mailed two days after the money was taken from my account. The thing is I live in Kansas City, Missouri. The court date for them to recieve their money is in January and the court is in St. Louis. Shouldn't it be in Kansas City near me so I can attend?

We live in the top floor of a condo. Both neighboors below us smoke outside both in front and on their deck. In the summer, it is a major drag when we have our windows open. The smoke flows right into our home. Is there any laws protecting us from this? It doesn't seem right that their smoke is coming into our home.

I know there are many laws requiring smokers to be a certain distance from entryways.

I mean seriously, wake up. Not all cops are good and not everyone that they villainize is bad. It's not like the game cops and robbers where there is a set good guy and bad guy. Some cops aren't necessarily good cops and not necessarily all the people that they hunt down are guilty, regardless of whether police ever actually admit it or not.

Somalia may be one of the most fragile and potentially explosive countries in the world. Its environment is shattered. Its population is soaring. Disastrous famine lurks. AK-47s and other guns have multiplied since the 1990s. And there’s no stable government to speak of.

Do you think that if the government is to grant amnesty (which the spineless bastards probably will) that the American people will revolt?

There is a lot of talk about this...not here in Yahoo answers...but in real life...

Just wondering what your thoughts were.

In the form of taxes, education, land, ect…

“Of coarse they should, BUT after the BLACKS PAY BACK the US for the portions owed to the families of each union solder that died to liberate them, and for all the damages of all the "race riots" over the years, and payback all the special benefits and perks received just for being a minority, there might not be much left over.”

Don’t you dare use slavery as an excuse... white people were slaves too!!!

They act like all us white folks were newly rich Americans that kept black people down in slavery when most whites that survived the boat trips here had less then a penny to their name and had to live off the land, not dine at the local posh city restaurant like you all seem to think we do now.

There’s an argument to be made for negotiating with the moderate Islamists and helping them maintain stability, but this seems a very unlikely route, ideologically, for the White House. The U.S. has a close relationship with the government in Christian-majority Ethiopia — a government that may not favor a stable Islamist Somalia.

Example:
A man punches a girl in the nose for fun, as a result breaks her nose and she starts bleeding, and she cries. The man laughs about it.

Question:
If someone informs the police about it(and have video evidence to prove it), but she don’t want to press charges, will the man be prosecuted by the State anyway(assault it is a public crime or not)?

Thank you.
