Do you think that if the government is to grant amnesty (which the spineless bastards probably will) that the American people will revolt?
There is a lot of talk about this...not here in Yahoo answers...but in real life...
Just wondering what your thoughts were.

I don't know if "Civil War", exactly, but something very bad, for sure. The problem is that illegals like to gloat- they brazenly break out laws and then say, "there's nothing you can do about it!!!". I liken it to poking a dog with a stick- you can poke it and giggle, but eventually, that dog is going to tear your *** up.
Some people think that "amnesty" would be the end- I think "amnesty" would really be the beginning of a lot of people getting hurt. It' s funny, too, how some illegals and their advocates say how evil and racist we are- why on Earth would you want to antagonize a whole population like that?!?

If the illegals are granted amnesty: Racial and political tension will continue to build up until suddenly riots start. (After King got shot, for example, there were violent riots here in Chicago. People were fighting, trashing streets, torching buildings, etc.) The people who will start these riots will probably be street gangs that have rival gangs comprised of Hispanics. (Legal and illegal.) These fights will escalate until normal people will start getting involved.
If the illegals aren't granted amnesty: Violent riots will start. The people starting them will be illegal immigrants and their supporters. Everyone will react.
-The last time riots happened was during the 60s and 70s, when the country was taking a rapid turn that would affect its future. Decades later, those riots have stopped, and we are now getting ready to take another rapid turn that can- once again- affect our country's future.

Will never happen. The Civil War was declared by the dominant class (wealthy land owner in the South and industrialists in the North) that had their interests at odds. This time around, only the lower end of society is suffering and, although there is a lot of whining and threats, its mainly from the loser's ranks. They have no funding, no organizational skills and no will to get anything done.

No. You need two sides to make a war, and most people would be on the anti-amnesty side. They might revolt and hang the bastards, but that is not a civil war.
