My boyfriend is currently serving a year long deployment in Tikrit, Iraq. I get to talk to him a lot, but he never tells me what they are doing, and I know its because he doesn't want to make me worry more then I already do. He tells me that they are safe, but then again is going out on missions everyday, what is really going on? Also, he say'd that he thinks they might not end up having to stay over there for their entire year long deployment, could this happen and is it typical?

Do you think I could make a lot of money selling Border Patrol uniforms to Mexicans south of the border? I think that would TOTALLY help them get across. This is American capitalism at its best!!

I worked for a couple of doctors for a year. Instead of paying for my health insurance they agreed to pay towards my student loans. Their billing people and accountants were aware of this deal. I quit a year later because they were horrible to work for. Two weeks later I get a call from the local police that I'm being charged with theft. They are very influential doctors and managed to get me indicted! So, now I have been charged with forgery and theft. All based on my fringe benefit checks. The agreement was that I spend the money student loans but I never got the chance because bills, rent, etc. always ended up coming first. My attorney seems to think the case is winnable but I would have to prove where the money went and I can't! If we went to court the docs would have to lie under oath that they did not agree to the fringe benefits. They obviously will since they lied to police. Diversion has been offered but I must admit guilt and repay. Any suggestions?

My son in law and 20 others with a permanent profile (medical) and listed non deployable have been told today they will be deployed to Iraq on January 20th. This was decided by their commander at Fort Bragg. There is a big meeting going on right now by the person in charge there of medical profiles. She says it can't be done. I"m confused. Help.

It's rediculous, they're so busy killing each other it's almost like they're forgetting about killing the 'infidel invaders'.

In fact every Iraqi is so busy trying to kill another Iraqi that it's only Al Qaeda/Saddamists killing American troops now.... and no one likes those guys...not even Iraqis that are trying to kill eachother!

So why can't Iraqi's stop killing eachother?

Why are Sunni/Shiite leaders so mute on this endless, godless slaughter?

Why can't the Sunnis/Shiites be more like the Kurds?

You can blame it on the US forces but in actuallity, it's in their interest for the killing to stop. So to say that they're intentionally stoking the flames of sectarian conflict is not only naive...but patently false.

I think electorial votes are out dated. The reason we adopted them long ago no longer exsist. I think the person with the most popular votes should win, that way our votes REALLY count. What are your thoughts on this?

I recently recieved a speeding ticket in FL, and one day my law professor told us that if any infomation on the ticket is incorrect, the ticket itself is invalid, and I don't have to pay anything. I went home and check the ticket I received and found that under "Race", the officer put down the wrong race, does this ticket still valid??? If not what action do I need to take??? Thanks!!!! The ticket amount is 80 dollar.

Me and my co-workers are having a discussion on this: If a cop gives you a ticket for speeding and it's impossible for you to see him (he's behind a wall with his lights off, etc) then technically it's entrapment and if you take it to court you with a good lawyer you win. My view is that it's not entrapment because your breaking the law on your own, and entrapment is only when the cops do something to help you break the law. Theirs is that since you can't see the cops and aren't given the chance to correct yourself that it's entrapment. What do you think?

Alex B. Ph D.'s Question:
Why must people insist on hating our president simply because they subliminally hate America?

NOPE!

It is because of a LOVE for America that we hate to see what the Bush administration has done to it.

Is Bush's incompetency and the disaster in Iraq so bad that all conservatives can do at this point is claim Liberals hate America because they've run out of excuses for Bush? Sounds it,huh?

that in border towns like this one, Laredo, TX. Mexicans come all the time to shop, eat, and whatever. But did you know that when they pay for things, they also pays taxes, right, well they can also get their taxes back. Its called a "manifestos" I think that it is not fair, because many Mexicans come to Laredo, and buy a lot of things, and take it back to Mexico and sell it more expensive.

I think that Mexicans should be taxed more then us, and the US shouldnt give them their taxes back. I think that The US should TAX mexicans more then they tax us.

He was 19 and wasn't sure that he wanted to be in the army anymore and he went awol for about 3 weeks, went back and got chaptered out within a month with an "other than honorable discharge" (as I said earlier) . Now, every since he did that he's felt so much pain and guilt and has thought many times about making it right and going back to finish serving his country. It's been almost 4 years since he got out and I was just wondering if anyone knows if it's going to be possible if he wants to go back , he said he has a re-3 code. If anyone can help or give advice please do. Thanks.

Members of radical cleric Moqtada al-Sadr's Mahdi Army militia are taking on the USA military and making Bush change foreign policy.
Sahib al-Ameri, secretary general of Sadr's Najaf-based Martyrs' Foundation, a religious body linked to the Sadr movement, stated they will beat the USA in Iraq and make Bush leave in the near future. Already the American troops refuse to fight and many troops have stated they know they can not win in Iraq. This will be another Vietnam for the Americans Sahib al-Ameri said.

Actually was meant to throw Iraq into chaos which would strengthen Iran’s control of the region turning it into a super power. Why you ask? Simple, fearing that the Shiite Muslims will be turning into a super power; it will force Turkey (Sunni Muslims) to establish the caliphate. The two countries will be at odds with each other and eventually leading to a regional war. With this in mind, is Iraq such a failure?
