WOW, it looks like nobody on here has any clue what they are talking about. As a Mason, I should be able to answer this question for you.

To become a Mason, you must merely be a good man who believes in a higher power. Then you should ask a member of your local lodge to meet and discuss joining. They will be happy to talk to you and get you started.

When I joined, I had no idea what to expect. I have since met many wonderful people and have learned a great deal about myself and others. You really learn how to work well and serve your community through charity. It is a great fraternal organization.

There will always be those who accuse Masons of being Satanic, or of being evil at the higher levels, but let me assure you that the higher degrees of Freemasonry are only a continuation of the first three, which recounts a legend that takes place during the building of King Solomon's temple. As a 32nd degree Mason myself, I have never seen or heard anything to lead me to believe that anyone in our midst is a Satanist. In fact, there are members of my lodge who are Christian ministers, Muslims, and Jews.

Contrary to what some may say about the higher degrees, those of us who are 32nd degree Masons are often the ones with more opportunity to do good work in the community.

If you take away nothing else from my writings here, know this....you will always learn more about Freemasonry from Masons than you will from people who are guessing about the fraternity or regurgitating opinions about what they have read. Find out for yourself. We are a noble institution that strives to make good men better.

Take this from somebody whose father is in loose masons. For years, my mothers and fathers' marriage worked out wonderful until my dad travelled, n signed up 4 loose masons. because of the fact then, the only factor that stored the marriage at the same time is my mom's unwillingness 2 advance toddlers in a broken domicile. it is not only me, a minimum of three different acquaintances have complained approximately comparable issues. Their secrets and strategies and conflicting ideals have torn down many marriages. Then, there is the non secular factor. incredibly in case you're Christian, their ideals do no longer accept as true with ours. verify it out for your self. In loose masons, you will finally end up doing all form of ridiculous issues in basic terms 2 locate out on the D-day that all of it avails to no longer something. For the sake of the guy you love, and for the sake of the God you love, do no longer connect loose masons. there is not any such factor as a loose lunch.

Please do your research thoroughly about this. I "heard" that this was Satanic the higher up you get. I just learned that a couple years ago. And since then I have been coming across literature stating the same.

I use to think that a mason was just a bricklayer. Men who work construction are awesome!
