This is intended to be a neutral question with relation to people making comparisons to the initial settlement of the "White" man to America vs Mexicans coming here illegally. What is the difference between the "White" man taking over America and Mexicans trying to take it over?

Well, for one, the White man didn't take over "America"- the White man founded America. This was just vast land full of nomadic tribes scattered throughout.

We now have a Nation, with a Constitution and laws. We happen to have laws against illegal immigration, amongst other things, so the Mexicans are in fact attempting to invade a sovereign country, as opposed to unsettled territory.

When the original settlers came to America, they were here in very small numbers. As those numbers increased, the european immigrants established their own governments and created laws for coming into the area. Keep in mind, at the same time, Mexican, Spanish, and French people were settling other areas of what is now the United States. As the number of white settlers expanded across the Plains, they pushed out other countries. France sold most of their holdings after the Napoleonic War, and there was a Mexican/American war. As the country's population began to stablize and a larger part of the country was settled, the government established criteria for recieving benefits.
The Mexican immigration now is against the rules of the governing body of our country. They are under the radar, and when they do something illegal, it is impossible to track them. They live in poor areas in our cities, and use benefits that could be given to legal citizens. Because they are illegal, they do not pay taxes on any money they earn, so they do not contribute to the benefits they recieve by living here.
I believe everyone has a right to emigrate to the United States, because that is how our country was founded. However, they should have a way to do it legally, so every citizen benefits from their work.

The colonists took over the land from Native Americans and did something good with it.

The illegal Mexicans aren't trying to take over our land and make it better. They are just trying to use up all of our resources

America, as it is now, has the ability to stop Mexicans "trying to take over." Whereas, Native Americans simply lost the fight.

white man took it over by brute force, which was the way of most races and tribes at that time, the Europeans were more advanced technologically and more organized,

The Mexicans are just taking advantage of a over-humane system , they have too may babies and they don't know how to remedy their own country, so they are parasites, not invaders

The "white" man waged war for the land and they won it. They also paid money to Mexico for that land. They established the government and economy.
Mexicans want to come here because the economy and government services are already available. The Europeans have already been here, working, paying taxes, establishing a super power. If Americans knocked every building over, turned over every paved road, and took their government and money with them, would Mexico still want it? Or would they manifest another failure of a country?

well...this is a hard one. on one side, you have an armed occupation which is ethicaly cleansing the idegenous population in order to take their land for themselfs..

..on the other, you have an 'illgeal immigrant' who is risking his life just coming to the US. then living in deplorable conditions (no they can't claim any benefits) , doing ANY work that pays money such as cleaning toilets etc, probably below minimum wages, most of them will be paying taxes..but even those who are not, will be spending money on US goods so helping the economy..and the illegal immigrant will do all that just merely to have a better life for themselfs and their families. incidentaly, they will not be comiting any crimes, as that would ensure they are sent back home.

So why people do not realise, that asylum seekers, refugees, immigrants all leave the country as a last resort, when life is so completely intolerable that its better to die trying then to stay?

If people in the US really don;t want any immigrants, improve the conditions of life in the countries they are coming from.

They are squatters--when we came here and began taking over everyone knew what we were doing and we killed, stole, cheated and lied to get it but we made our intentions pretty clear. If the mexicans want to take over they better get some balls and start to fight , kill, cheat an lie to get it from us.

There is a difference because the white man did it for greed and the Mexicans are just trying to survive!

That the Mexicans aren't trying to take it over, that they are simply trying to survive. Oh, and the fact that the Mexicans didn't take it from anyone the first time. They were here first and it was taken from them, if they try to take it back it is simply because it was theirs first (though they don't appear to be trying to take it back, just share).
