This would be a state issue. The President has no say in how ballots are designed. As for those who said "leave it blank", the point is not to say 'I don't care which one wins'. The point is to say 'I want them all to lose'. Some state actually have a 'none of the above' option. As I understand it, that option can't actually win.

As a ballot-counter in my town I can tell you that when no box is checked it is counted as a "blank". This is essentially a vote for "none of the above". There is also a space to write-in a candidate, but please, do not write in someone unless you really want a vote counted for them. It's time consuming to record all those write-ins for someone's neighbor, friend or favorite cartoon character.

That's why many people don't go to vote thinking it's useless as only one vote would'nt make a difference.
The problem is there are lakhs of people like them.

In USA you can write the name of your candidate.
They are the write in votes.
