How do police officers handcuff someone if he only has one hand? Do they cuff on of the cuffs to a belt loop or something?

For that matter why are we oftentimes referred to as "Americans" and also called "US citizens?" The fact is that we are a part of North America. Further north lies Canada. . Further south we find Central America and South America. SO for example, we do not have a good relationship with Venezuela, but she is part of South America. Yet (despite that we have "states" and that Venezuela is a country) she calls herself Venezuela but does not define herself as an "American." The same applies to Canada. It seems to me that the US calls herself "American" to make her seem larger than she is.

Ok two questions later and now I am no a roll. LOL

Asked a couple questions about globalization, foreign jobs, etc... and I was kind of caught off guard with the isolationists comments.

Now, I ask you, why is being anti-globalization being an isoliationist? It wasn't that way say.. 5 years ago.

Could someone explain that correspondence?

I personally believe, as my other questions clarify, being anti-globalization is looking out for my country. No where did I state to stop trading with other countries, etc...

Seriously, I'd like some explanation to see where the minds are today. I, personally, think it is propaganda in the works. I have been saying for awhile that we are hearing too much that globalization is 'good' for us.

We need to STOP and THINK about it no matter where you stand on it.

Right now i am 23 years old living in PA and trying to decide within the next three months which branch to go into. i have been talking to a marine vet a and i like what i heard . I have a involvement in a lot of cardio exercises such as running, biking, swimming and lifting. i am six feet tall and 150 pounds. i love to do PT and want to go through the toughest boot camp. my recruiter told me that i can take up a career in computers and not have to be actually out on the front lines. i was told by many others not to go into the marines and to join the navy or the air force instead since they are more technical. i do have college credits but not a degree (probably about 60-80).
some reasons that i want to join are the discipline, PT, extend my education and actually finish what i start, learn basic skills in the field, blow **** up, do my part in defending my country and many other reason.
i dunno something about the marines just has me hooked

i.e. conservatives actually want LESS government.. more rights for the people.. but harsher punishments for disobeying them. And conservatives don't really "conserve" anything...
liberals want MORE government.. and (really quite truly) less rights for the people.. since there would be more government the gov't would take care of more issues.. and liberals want to "conserve" the environment and all...


I mean.. what the hell? Political parties become more and more bullshit to me the more I read about them and its members.

*the $$ I make belongs to me and my family,not some mid-level governmental functionary,be it Democratic or Republican

THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING. i recently was driving by and i heard a lady scream out someone stole her purse and the FAT cop saw it and dropped his muffin or something and ran after him for like a block and stopped because he was tired. the thief got away. so why are FAT cops being hired if they can't run after suspects? shouldn't officers have fitness center's to go to?

How do you reach Sean Hannity to tell him that the people who ran his board has done something that was wrong and did not protect you from harassment? That you are thinking about reporting the facts to police ,media or lawyer to get the help you need. My cousin was on that board along with another cousin and both were banned because they thought they were the same person. My cousins have what is called adults dmd and sometimes they think faster then they write and therefore misspelling words happen. But instead of ask them they banned them just because a guy call sidestreamer wanted them gone. At this point in time our family hate Sean Hannity and his message board. We feel that Sean Hannity is not as honest or truthfull as he wnats people to believe. We donot understand why we were single out for him to act this way . So how do I reach him to tell him these things. I try to reach him through the website but have not got an answer from any one, So if anyone knows any thing please help!
