I would ask if it is legal but I know better than that. I am sure Clinton or the liberals have done something to make it o.k. for the Republicans to do whatever they want.

It all depends on how much oil is in the ground, and how much money Republican associated war contractors can make.

The most recent study from Johns Hopkins University says the US has killed 665,000 civilians. But it was for their own good.

Agreed it is a mess. But It's not the US killing all the civilians, it's mostly a state of civil war. Also, the idea of taking out Saddam wasn't just because he was killing his own people. He was in violation of at least 4 UN Resolutions that required armed intervention that was established by the Security Council. However, several of the members were reluctant to follow through with the use of force. We later found out why. They had a vested interest (monetary) to keep Saddam in power.

How many of these "innocent civilians" have been killed by insurgents and Shiite-Sunni struggles? Now how many by US Soldiers? Legal......congress gave the President permission to go to war! The President swore an oath to protect this country. I think he did what had to be done!

I noticed Republicans comparing Iraq to Kosovo and Serbia. I highly question ones intelligence for trying to compare Iraq which we might not overcome to Kosovo and Serbia which nobody hears about anymore.

Saddam killed 182,000 kurds. The US Army hasn't killed that many civillians. The Shiite militias have, though.
