FREEDOM. Every country in the world has had to taste the wrath of terrorism and fear further killings. Like someone said what's scary is that someone is openly talking about wiping other nations off the face of the earth quite matter of factly and not one country can even come up with an idea while people are being terrorized?

There is a war going on between good and evil and we all know which side we want to win. It's not only justified but also inevitable.

I believe for the most part wars are fought over greed. We have been and are in countries we have NO business in. Seldom is it justified except ww1 and ww2. I believe this country is in many wars just to keep every other countrys so if we get into trouble we can ask them to help.

On one side, no, but they thought so.
On the other side, yes, they had no choice.
But it does no good to get too moral in your position.
Unfortunately, there are truly evil people in the world, and they can only be stopped by force of arms.
Neither can you leave out moral judgements.
Confused yet? Welcome to the real world.
And yet....I still have a T-shirt I picked up in a Combat Casualty Care Course many years ago. It reads: "War has no winners, only survivors."

hell yeah its justified! when someone threatens your home, your loved ones, your own brother or sister! What do you do? Talk peace? no its called blow them off the face of the earth! If someone you loved was killed wouldn't you want justice man? What is justice keeping this damn world togather by sending peace talkers to calm them down so they have more time to build up there supplies? no! get them while there weak and struggling! thats how your put your enamy down. you don't wait until they have killed half your relatives!

I think, if a person wants to overcome suppression, they need to fight their own battles.

Even IF we were in Iraq to save the people, it will never do any good unless the people are willing to same themselves.

There's a poem called "If We Must Die"...it says all the right things about the reasoning behind fighting.

If we must die, let it not be like hogs
Hunted and penned in an inglorious spot,
While round us bark the mad and hungry dogs,
Making their mock at our accursed lot.
If we must die, O let us nobly die,
So that our precious blood may not be shed
In vain; then even the monsters we defy
Shall be constrained to honor us though dead!
O kinsmen we must meet the common foe!
Though far outnumbered let us show us brave,
And for their thousand blows deal one deathblow!
What though before us lies the open grave?
Like men we'll face the murderous, cowardly pack,
Pressed to the wall, dying, but fighting back!
(Claude McKay)

It depends, if we are defending our country then yes, if we are invading a country[ and we are] then hell no. And don't anyone give me any **** about terrorists, because there wasn't any in Iraq, they didn't attack us, they had nothing to do with 9/11.
