My ex agreed to make a quit claim deed on a property that I help purchased. Later I agreeded to do the same. I was about to have it recorded at the clerks office and found it to be no good. She initiated and completed all the paperwork and has worked in a law office that produced these items and is a subject matter expert. Can she be charged with fraud or any other criminal act to gain by deception, also know as theft. All documents were notarized but never filed. Should they have been filed by her if this was the intent.

I find, more often than not, politicians barring very few, indulge in acts that go to justify the saying, "Politics is the last resort of a scoundrel!" When an opposition party comes to power, it would invariably undo most of what the predecessor did! Is this why politics is the last resort of a scoundrel? When will people change? Do they change at all?!

ive been charged with theft of a semi trailer in phx az my codefendant in this case has had his charges dismissed i wasnt even in the truck when we got arrested & didnt even know that the trailer was stolen. my codendant was the driver as well as the owner of the truck. i have been appointed a public defender who when asked if he would find out why his charges were dropped says "they wont tell him" & that is all he says. i was told that they probably made a deal with the codefendant to let him go. i have no record & the plea offered to me was from a class 3 to a class 6 designated felony. if he said it was me shouldnt that be in the discovery? also i have asked for the discovery and recieved only the police report & inditement no other evidence. i am not sure what to do i dont have alot of $ for an atty & dont know anything about the legal system or how to go about clearing myself . is codefendants word creditable? how can i get a pro bono atty. thx for your time & any good advice.

Now, newly disclosed documents reveal new details on who was targeted and which other government agencies may have helped monitor Americans.

The documents provide new details on how anti-war protesters, Universities, and even Quakers and churches came to be labeled "threats" worthy of the attention of the military. The documents also suggest for the first time that agents of the Department of Homeland Security played a role in monitoring American citizens who have not broken the law.

"I fully intend to ask what's in those databanks, because many of them go way beyond any legitimate needs for our security," says Vermont Sen. Patrick Leahy. Congress wants to know not just what data was collected, but why and how it was to be used.
