It's been 12 and a half years since this double homicide happened,and,11 years that Mr. Simpson was acquitted of the double homicide charges against him, and, latest controversy or not regarding this matter,is the case still open & under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Dept.?If not, then why not?
If possible,I prefer answers from Los Angeles residents, even someone presently or formerly involved with the Los Angeles Police Dept. Thanks!

Should child molestors or ppl who have been convicted for rape or a molestor have to have a sign put in their yards or front doors to let everyone know what they have done. I got this idea from Bill Ingel off Comedy Central but i believe just like he said what rights should they have. If you are going to take up for anyone who has done this do not answer this question

At the rate Iran is developing it's nuclear program, and all the genocidal rhetoric coming out of it's leadership, sooner of later, they are going to nuke Israel, Saudi Arabia, and even the U.S. (suitcase bombs). I think either their leadership needs to be eliminated, or the nation nuked (selective targets/cities) in a pre-emptive strike. The most dangerous world, is a world held hostage by a radical muslim nuclear nation. Any thoughts?

There is a program called Give the Gift of Sight at LensCrafters that gives glasses to low income people. I went to get a pair recently. After my first appointment, I recieved a phone call saying my appointment was cancelled because I looked too "rich". I had brought in my own frames to use and I was told that was the reason they thought I had money. I called the manager and she apologized. She said she trains her employees to determine the financial eligibility of clients by their appearance, not financial records. This sounds very strange to me, even discriminatory and could be illegal. Does anyone know if this is illegal and what law it could violate?

'smart' foreign students in the USA then to allow them to have work visas when they graduate.

Now, I don't know about you but I graduated with an Electrical Engineering degree where about 30% of my fellow classmates were from other countries.

I am completely opposed to this. I think we need to stop letting in so many foreigners to our schools and accept more citizens into our colleges.

And GEEZ as far as letting them have work visas... I don't want to even get started on this. Don't we, in professional degrees, have enough freaking competition now as it is?

Opinions?

I'm reading online about the hiring process and after all the background checks and physical and mental exams, you have to complete the Job Standard Test which consists of running and jumping over a 6 foot wall, dragging a victim, firing an inoperative firearm and some other running around tasks. Does this part happen before you get taken into the Academy? I don't even know how to go about training for something like this on my own...such as getting good at surmounting a 6 foot barrier. Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated! I'll be applying for the NYPD.

Amnesty International has called Guantanamo the "gulag of our time" and said it has become a "symbol of abuse and represents a system of detention that is betraying the best US values and undermines international standards."
What you think?

If the definition of a resident includes the term "no present intention of leaving" then what if someone has no permanent address but also plans to leave his or her current address to move to an undetermined place. Would that person not be a resident of the current state?

Technically the agent is 'less dangerous' because he is not actually disclosing his agency's direct secrets.

For example, the CIA and MI6 form an allied intelligence, but somehow US and UK get into a minor conflict. They are still 'friends', yet UK suspects US might act against them in the future.

So MI6 ask their, say, North Korean mole (who works for North Korean intelligence) to notify them of any possible threats from the US (against the UK) which they come across; AND if possible also deliberately expose a US weakness/scandal so that UK can use it to gain upper hand against their ally.

Sorry if this is a bit convoluted, I was just wondering if there is a specific term for this type of 'half-double' mole/agent. Thanks :)
