Jihad is an eternal struggle within every Muslim to overcome obstacles on the path to Allah. It is not a "holy war" or any other kind of radical perversion related to current events.
So no, a jihad can not be fought entirely with an arsenal of car bombs.

Though out the history of mankind there have been holy wars. The old testament is full of them. The crusades were holy wars. More people have been killed in the name of God than for any other reason. As long as you have people who are willing to die for what they believe any tool be a car bomb or anything else will work. You cant kill an idea with a bullet or bomb. It has to be addressed if valid accepted or replaced with a better idea. Its hard work. Making war is the easy part. Making peace that's the tough job with long lasting rewards. Gosh didn't you know that. Jihad is a personal struggle, and they express this struggle by strapping on bombs and blowing stuff up.Maybe you shouldn't be so ignorrant of Muslims.
