I've got a friend who isn't a citizen but has a green card, could he used that to get into a club here in Los Angeles, CA? Thanks!

Not for buying or being served alcohol. Bartenders and waitstaff are only allowed to accept 4 different types of ID. They are: -Driver's license issued by any US state or territory -State ID -Military ID -Passport You will even see the poster with the acceptable IDs near the beer case in some stores. Might you find someone willing to bend the rules, possibly.

That's a darned good question - I would hope not, all the folks I know with green cards also have State ID's or State Driver's licenses... much harder to fake - at least in my state...

Which has a downside at times... (did I say that out loud... crap...)
