The so pronounced as "focused visitor worker" plan has continually be amnesty. it extremely is why Bush is a hypocrite while he says he's against amnesty yet for the focused visitor worker element. If it walks like a duck, it extremely is a duck. I wish Congress could awaken and understand that maximum human beings do no longer choose for this! i'm hoping that any congress member that votes for this terrible plan is out on his/her butt next election. they are violating the have confidence of the voters that voted for them while they pronounced they have been for border safety. that may no longer border safety. it extremely is how u . s . of america would be destroyed speedier because of the invasion. Do they extremely think of this could remedy the situation? this could only improve the influx because of the fact they're going to only wait around for the subsequent around of amnesty!

I think it is quite a bit better than any other international war criminal prison. I wonder how they treat American captives, oh yeah they cut their heads off.
I don't know what international standards you are talking about... the UN is a joke. No one adheres to the rules, except us and a few of our allies, so I don't listen to the nonsense put out by that outdated wanna be peace group.
I think that some people do not deserve to be treated with as much dignity as others. personal opinion. that is probably why most people choose not to break the law or plant bombs to harm powerful countries.

Amnesty International calls any jail that the U.S. has a gulag. They seem to think that all criminals should go free and not be punished.

Until this country, home of the Statue of Liberty, stops advocating torture, we will lose all the moral authority paid for in blood by the many generations before us. We used to proud to say we are not like our enemies, that we stand for something better. Guantanamo prison is a disgrace to our heritage and ourselves, and many in the military business of interrogation have said torture doesn't even give you reliable information anyway. It is time we closed it down, or at least changed the rules, and demand that these practices stop.

I think you can fit more people into a gulag. And the detainees at gitmo sit in cages eating cereal bars. Jews and capitalist were not fed and worked to death.

Anything happens in Guantanamo in order to get information from the prisoners for intelligence purposes.

I think Amnesty International doesn't have access to a dictionary...a gulag strictly refers to prisons in the former Soviet Union....Also, in warfare you can't always fight in ideal terms.

I think Amnesty International doesn't have a clue, those scumbags are treated better than the pukes in a federal prison!
