will never happen ....

why do people keep trying to push the next group down ???

it didn't happen to the italians

it didn't happen to the chinesse

it didn't happen to the irish

* it ( deportation )

all were targeted and at the end become part of this society , the american society ...

why keep fighting a fight which has never been won , will never be won ???

people always adapt and people always learn at the end that blaming another group over ourselves is not only not right but way more than not right .....

Did I hear correct? Did he say that the lesson he learned is that "people want instant success in the world"? that "we will win in Iraq if we don't quit"?

Is that the lesson of the Vietnam war?

And isn't his comment a slap in the face of the Vietnamese people who are doing just fine?

I am a senior in high school thinking about joining the navy next year. If I good, I would like to learn to speak Arabic. I was born in America and have no criminal background. I have decent grades and scored a 99 on the AFQT. Are there any other hurdles to becoming an Arabic linguist?

P.S. I wouldn't be too upset if I had to study something besides Arabic. But I've heard Arabic is in high demand for the military.

Who else found that episode of Law & Order: CI disturbing. Two sodiers back from Iraq getting engaged then the woman goes out not long before the wedding to blow off steam by getting drunk and having sex with strangers. Is this an exageration or are things actually like that? Now that women are much more prominant in the military are they now replacing the prostitues that soldiers used to visit in past wars? Then they bring back this odd sense of moral values back them. Also, is there anything wrong with this?

Lately I've been having lot of problem with few things such as getting doctor appointment, getting new identify card at DMV, registering for college, and other things.

I've had several appointments cancelled because the interpeteran didn't show up. Also I doesn't like to have a interpeteran at all! 8 out of 10 time they're someone who pass only basic sign lanaguage class and hardly can communication on complex level. Also they tend to mess up the consveration like this one time I ask the person who do all registrating thing at college "Will me being from Nevada affect anything?" My interpeteran was obiviously very confused and when she interpeter what the person answer was it turn out to be "We don't have any studying program in Canada" Of course I walk out.

Most interpeteran are a bunches of idiots with serious power trip and esteem issue who want to be savior for deaf world. They also act like if they have to hold my hand, hand feed me, and treat me like

This is a purely hypothetical question, but having viewed the history of America over the last few months I am wondering if the West has gone soft in it's attitde to the Middle East? Given the current complications, would it not be easier for the West to simply 'nuke' the whole of the Middle East, wiping out all of the global terrorist threat in one fell swoop, than to continue in this grotesque 'War On Terror'? There is no doubting that terrorists are currently looking to acquire the technology to attempt a 'first strike' on the Western Allies. Is it not worth considering, for global peace and security, that the West makes a pre-emptive strike against it's enemies? They say that history is written by the victor. In that context is not worth the risk of simply wiping outthe whole of the Middle East to achieve that objective?
