Wouldn't that be supporting the troops?

or was the phrase "Support the Troops" just used like waving the flags and bibles during elections?

I am a home owner. I do not smoke - never have but something here doesn't seem right
.
My question refers to a Home Owner's Assignation in Colorado that told condo owners they can not smoke in their own home. The home owners went to court and lost.

These people their bought their condo, signed the lease - then the association changed the smoking rules. If the new rules had been in place at least the owners could of had the option not to move there.
How much power do you believe an association should have over what you do inside your home?
A number of people complain about Big Brother and the government overstepping privacy - is this better?

Please dont start talking about different units in each one or any of the special ops. Just on average straight out of boot/basic which private is more "equiped" or "knowledgeable" "physically stronger" and please dont try and lecture me about all of the service's being equall and having different jobs I already know that. But Im just curious because I shipout for Boot Camp in a month and im just wondering if I made the right decision. Oh yeah and please dont try to correct my spelling or grammar I hate that. Any serious answers will be greatly apreciated thank you.

Or do the same ones guard a different President after an election?

(Granted they are still fit to continue serving)

Example, the Secret Service men that guarded Clinton, after the 2000 election, did the same ones go on to guard Bush or did they get new ones?

It seems like we let politicians do way too much toward the control of our lives, I know they are supposed to be "Our" elected representatives but I think we all know that's very seldom the case these days, so just like states have ballot initiatives, should we force the Government into creatin National Ballot Initiatives, Issues like Abortion, Gay Marriage, etc would be resolved by these iniatives, also it seems to me it would offer more flexability has the national attitudes shift over the course of time and new discoveries, for example say Issue X was passed with a 60% vote but after seeing Issue X in operation wasn't working as planned it could be back on the ballot again and changed, in the end though it will be the peoples will by majority vote that rules the day rather than some lobbyists who contributed more for his/her business interests
