Unfortunately, Iraq will be united with Iran. Shiites are the majority in Iraq. If there is a democratic government elected by the majority, it will be Shiite. Shiites run Iran. Iran is a shiite nation. No bashing, but Bush has created an impossible situation. Bush is right about Iran being the axis of evil. So what the hell do we do now? Please. We must not ask Iran for help in Iraq. Oh, by the way, in Democracy, you do not kill the people who disagree with you. The so called Iraq government is a puppet regime.

Personally I'd feel pretty presumptuous making any kind of long term projection at this particular point in human history on practically anything. I've got a certain expectancy, but not so narrow a view as world politics or the policies of world governments. Really narrow. I'm not kidding. Toooo much evidence in play.

I think the country will still be in the same place it has always been . right there in the middle east .

I see turmoil... Terrorism, fighting, and plain conflict. We have created a mess. Is it up to us to clean it up? I can predict the US presence for oil and more lies to stay in Iraq.
