.....after hearing that Birmingham council changed its opinion and let a muslim women have her picture on her driving licence with her face covered.
....after hearing of a primary school in Birmingham where a boy was told that for PE they could wear football shirts of league teams (Aston Vila, Birmingham etc etc) but NOT an England shirt as it may offend others!
Take it or leave it. I am tired of this nation (UK) worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture.
I am not against immigration, nor do i hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to the UK. However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to the uk, and apparently some born here, need to understand. As Britons we have our own culture, society, language and our own lifestyle. Our culture has been developed over centuries of war and struggle.
You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.
So stop moaning and dont forget "THE RIGHT TO LEAVE"

Ok. So I'd like to get a US passport and maybe a government job later on, but in order for my plans to be fulfiled, I need to apply for U.S. citizenship. The porblem is, I'd like to get it fast. I've been living in the U.S. since I was 8 years old and have a green card, and my brother is a citizen, which I don't think gets me anywhere, but nonetheless, my point is I'm totally American, but am not considered an American because I dont' have citizenship. (I mean I don't have all of the benefits of an American, like voting). I'd also like to travel, and I think the benefits of having a U.S. passport are endless, plus I don't think I'll be moving anywhere from the U.S. So does it really take at least a year to get everything processed? Couldn't there be a faster way? After all I got all my education in the U.S., and am currently attending a university that requires me to study abroad, but how can I do that when I don't even have a passport?

The Democrats have won back both the House and the Senate - a clear signal that Americans are tired of the bull**** that has been going on in D.C. for twelve long years.

I am not even sure if the term welfare is considered "politically correct". If there is a more accepted term for it these days? Is it the same as government assistance? Thank you in advance for answers to any or all of my questions.

Would you be a good witness or do you think you would end up losing your cool and end up being reprimanded by the judge?.

I would probably end up being reprimanded if I thought the questions were unfair.

I see the atrocities in Darfur, little boys tortured, very young girls gang raped, genocide. I realize these things are happening in Iraq, but they no longer seem to want us there. On the other hand, the people of Darfur are pleading for help. Over 400,000 have died and 10,000 are dying every month. Your opinion?

Do you think that the reason why immigration is such a racist topic is because of governments? Do you think it is the governments fault we have racism over this topic? Do you think that the government wants us to be this way, hating each other? Of course, the U.S.A. and Mexico are fighting over Texas or Aztlan or whatever, but what good does it have for you? It is just for the governments satisfaction, not for yours or anybody elses. Do you think they are controling us with racism. Like if each government such as Mexico and the U.S. Let's say that Mexico said that the U.S. is racist against the Mexican peoples cause of illegal immigration. Then all the Mexican people are angry at the U.S. people cause of that. What if the government of Mexico planned the Mexicans to go angry, b. Also, this is what the U.S. people get also, cause they get racist by Mexicans, but the Mexicans think that the U.S. people are racisting them. What if this whole immigration racism is just a misunderstanding?

Their pigheaded, arrogant, meglamaniacal leader would have came clean about f****** up in Iraq, and dumped Rumsfield long ago? This should serve as a microcosm of how things go when you "stay the course" when you are on the wrong course.

I am not a democrat and do not know if they will turly be any better. But I think they will be better than what we had. C'mom dems, do us proud.
