Do you think that the reason why immigration is such a racist topic is because of governments? Do you think it is the governments fault we have racism over this topic? Do you think that the government wants us to be this way, hating each other? Of course, the U.S.A. and Mexico are fighting over Texas or Aztlan or whatever, but what good does it have for you? It is just for the governments satisfaction, not for yours or anybody elses. Do you think they are controling us with racism. Like if each government such as Mexico and the U.S. Let's say that Mexico said that the U.S. is racist against the Mexican peoples cause of illegal immigration. Then all the Mexican people are angry at the U.S. people cause of that. What if the government of Mexico planned the Mexicans to go angry, b. Also, this is what the U.S. people get also, cause they get racist by Mexicans, but the Mexicans think that the U.S. people are racisting them. What if this whole immigration racism is just a misunderstanding?

I'm sorry I stopped reading after the first two sentences. The government does not create racists. The topic of immigration is about race to certain people but not most. Most of us just want our laws enforced. And anyway, there are more people involved than just Mexicans.

Immigration is not a racist topic, it only becomes a racist topic when someone has no other means to justify their position on the topic and choses to throw out that vile word(racist) to silence their opponent. There is nothing racist about demanding that people who immigrate to this country, do so legally.
There is nothing racist about breaking the law. There is nothing racist about enforcing the law. No matter what color you are if you break the law- you are a criminal. And there is nothing racist about me or anyone else calling someone who breaks the law a criminal. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck- It's probably a duck.

not really, i think that is just the turn of events. I dont think Mexico wants to be mad at the US, I think that many Americans (and Mexicans for that matter) are racist. Thats all, stupid racist people. I think we put WAY too much emphasis on nationality, and make what is in a way a "race"...."we used to be the same people, but now this is my country, and that is yours, so we are not the same at all" Where you live does not make you better or worse than any other place.

The govt. is guilty of creating diversions, such as this issue....Of course you will have racist people, jumping on the ban wagon to get rid of all illegals.....And if people don't think this is political, they are just NAIVE.....I mean the Fence Bill was passed a few days before the election?! Come on! Thats no coincedence, trust me....
BTW, I guess this issue wasn't as pressing as some here want you to believe, because the people voted and now we will hopefully get a comprehensive immigration bill, which means, amnesty for some illegals.....

No, I think it's the peoples fault because no matter what the government says, they're not going to change my mind. I'm not racist.

the government is made up of one thing:
PEOPLE.
you can't separate government and people.
the government consists entirely of people and what they do, the laws they make, the policies they make, etc.
try thinking about this: the problem is not illegal immigration, but illegal employment, illegal employers. shift the frame.

No. Immigration has nothing to do with racism in our government.
People who play the race card try to divert the attention off of the real problem because they have no valid argument as to why people should be here illegally.

Racism is all about love and how it just keeps growing. It is all in your mind. When white people say all illegal aliens are trash, criminals and drug pushers, they are just trying to say how much they love you.
