Rush Limbaugh made a name for himself in the 1990s as an outspoken ultra-conservative and ultra-popular radio talk show host. Limbaugh got his start in radio while still in high school. In the 1980s he landed in Sacramento, California and perfected the politically-oriented sarcasm that earned him national syndication. Limbaugh gained particular fame as a staunch opponent of president Bill Clinton; by 1995, when Newt Gingrich led a Republican majority into the House of Representatives, Limbaugh was one of the most popular radio hosts in the U.S., with a fervent audience of "dittoheads," fans who parroted his conservative views. In July of 2001 Limbaugh signed a contract extension, reportedly worth $285 million, which would keep him on the air through 2009. In October of the same year Limbaugh announced that he was almost completely deaf, saying he had first experienced hearing loss only four months previously. In October 2003, after published reports linked him to illegal purchases of prescription drugs, Limbaugh admitted on the air that he was addicted to painkillers. He spent five weeks in a drug rehabilitation center and returned to the airwaves in November 2003, still under investigation amid reports of illegal drug purchases and money laundering.
And.. No i dont think we would be a good president...

I don't think so. I'm a conservative, and although Limbaugh is very good at what he does, he tends to not tell the full story much of the time when he's trying to make a point. Granted, it's his show and he can do with it what he wants, but usually there is a much bigger picture to be seen than what he allows. Michael Moore by contrast (or not) uses the same techniques to promote his agenda. Both are very adept, well read and "polished" but one would be foolish to believe everything either one of these "entertainers" offer as fact.

You're kidding right? He has nowhere near the requisite qualifications. Its one thing to blabber on the radio to a bunch of ditto heads that are going to believe anything you say. It's quite another thing to appeal to a broad base of the public, make hard decisions, and lead. He is not even in the ballpark.

Critiques do not make decisions ... without that skill (decision making) they wouldn't make a good president. They could get elected without being a good president ... heard of BUSH?
Anyone can shout from the rafters ... few make leaders or presidents.
RUSH is earning a living getting couch potatoes to acknowledge their presence and boost his ratings ... it is a living.

I think he would. I'd like to see how the country would be run by him for eight years and see how much things have changed or got better.
But I'd also like to see how things would change under Hillary too. Probably free abortions and bigger welfare checks.
