Seems to me that the day after the GOP lost the House you might want to reconsider the caustic approach you took towards others. Remember something, WE are ALL citizens of this nation, and we ALL have valid input. When you stopped realizing that, your Boys got tossed out on their butts.

After all, it's not as if Bush has actually caught him, or anything, even though 5 YEARS have passed since the 9/11 attacks. One would think that if Bush were so strong on national security, he would have caught bin Laden long before he went after Saddam Hussein.

Hezbollah has also enlisted the aid of gullible American women to ease their way into the country.

Jessica Yolanda Fortune hooked up with Lebanon-born Chawki Youssef Hammoud in 1994. The marriage enabled him to obtain a green card -- and the cover to operate a Charlotte, N.C.-based cell that smuggled cigarettes to raise cash for Hezbollah. The terror cell reportedly answered to a senior Hezbollah leadership in Lebanon and was part of a broader North American network responsible for also obtaining dual-use technologies for Hezbollah -- including goggles, global positioning systems, stun guns, naval equipment, nitrogen cutters and laser range finders.
Fortune was convicted of marriage fraud in October 2001. Hammoud was convicted of smuggling, credit-card fraud, money laundering and racketeering in June 2002.

Very random, and slightly tasteless question I guess! I've heard that the British army has used the most number of rounds of ammo since the Korean war (???), and was wondering what the cost of of this equipment is to the UK???

I was reading that the fence will not be so much a physical blockade, but a so called "virtual" fence of monitors and sensors.
Didn't they already prove that this type of barrier was not sufficient and that the maintenance was expensive and neglected?
Have you heard the same reports?

Over the past few months or so, I have heard some disturbing things about this woman who will now be Speaker of the House. If some of these things are true, how can anyone be confident and feel good about her taking over? Its scarey but I also know I shouldnt believe everything. Does anyone have a link or links that they can provide on what this woman is all about? Feel free to share your own opinions also but I would like some facts as well. Should this country be worried about our future with her headed to the House?

Three out of five of the Michigan proposals were voted in. The two that were not voted in was the hunting of mourning dove proposals and the school funding proposals...I cant believe ANY of these initiatives passed! Espically the ban on affrimative action. It costs money to change law...what were the tax payers thinking?

I'm asking because, while I know they had the power to set the agenda, I don't recall hearing many, if any, stories proving they had great control over it at all. If I'm not mistaken, their majorities were often insufficient to enforce cloture. Was the Republican control exaggerated or not? It seems like they get all the blame, and, like Republicans or not (I lean Democrat), I think it's fair to ask if they deserve it.

What do you think?

I've been to a few different postal branches recently, and each time noticed that the people working the counter seem to hate their jobs. They also seem very lazy. On one occasion, there were two women just talking behind the counter about their upcoming holiday schedule, while customers just stood in line waiting to be called up. And you can see the employees in back just shuffling around like zombies, trying to look busy without really doing anything. What gives?
