If people don't vote, they need to accept everyone else's decisions becuase that is why you have the right to vote. You each have to exercise that right or you don't have anyone to blame but yourself.

I say yes and no.

In general terms NO if they don't bother to vote then they don't have much room to complain.

Though in US elections with such a strong 2 party system quite often there are no good candidates to vote for. Or the area they live in may be so skewed to one of the parties that it doesn't really matter in local or Congressional elections. But that does not excuse people from 1. Voting on the issues and 2. Picking the best of the candidates running and voting for them especially in Senatorial, Gubinatorial and Presidential Elections.

You know I am a firm believer that if you don't vote ----Don't b i t c h !!!!!!
I was very disappointed yesterday my husband didn't vote....he had to work!!!!! Crappy excuse...he had at least 1/2 hour left to vote by the time he got home!!!
And that's exactly what I told him....Don't complain to me about any of our state issues for the next four years because he didn't use his voice when it mattered

It really doesn't bother me cause i used to be like that and im sure that everyone else has too. I started voting after Bush started sending my husband to Iraq numerous times. Now I don't miss one election. I now vote on everything and anything.

Drives me up a wall. I really can not stand it. We live in America people. We have freedoms that most countries dare not dream of. When you don't vote you spit on our constitution, our freedoms and our Country. I know a couple of people who chose not to vote, and I swear to God if I hear them complain, even once, I will explode on them.

Yes very much.
As a matter of fact, as complaining about politics is one of my favorite things, it is one of the main reasons I vote.
You know, b----ing rights.

NO - if you don't vote, you give up your voice. And complaining is trying to use your voice. Not fair. You have to at least make an effort to change something before you can complain about it!

No voting, no complaining! No excuses.

No, If you do not take the time/effort to register and vote...then you shouldn't complain. If you want your voice heard do it at the polls!!!!
