I believe "Arnold" was "natural born citizen" of another country "Austria", and he will have lived in the USA for fourteen years before inaugeration day should he become President! The first seven Presidents were not born in the USA!
I also believe, that should "Arnold"
become President, he could as any could, be President longer then two terms, for a total of10 years maximum, correct me if I'm wrong!
I'm a Canadian, who wants to know.

Section One of Article II of the U.S. Constitution states that the President must be a natural born citizen of the United States (or a citizen of the United States at the time the U.S. Constitution was adopted), at least 35 years of age, and resident of the United States for at least fourteen years.

Why no longer? as long as they seem to be a citizen of the U. S., they'd desire to be eligible. isn't that what citizenship is all approximately? equivalent possibility for all? Being born interior the U. S. does not confer something particular on a guy or woman, yet somebody who makes a wide awake determination to depart their fatherland, flow to the U. S., take out citizenship and construct a existence there needless to say has an extremely intense regard for the country. in all danger even bigger than somebody who only happens to have been born there. There are exams and balances in working for place of work -- no criminal checklist, sparkling own checklist, would desire to have the backing of a undeniable variety of good electorate, etc. so it does not seem as though somebody who does not have the country's best pastimes at coronary heart could possibly slip by all those nets. in spite of each little thing, particularly some the U. S.-born presidents have not been such sterling characters!

No. That is specifically prohibited by the Constitution. An amendment to the Constitution would have to be ratified by a number of state legislatures, I think it's 3/4.
They made the Constituion extremely hard to change for a reason.

No. When we were a young government, they made sure that we could not be a monarchy ever again. The colonies didn't want to be ruled by a foreign power. This is why you need to be born in the US to be president. Odd since we govern foreign countries but don't want to be governed by a foreign country ourselves.

I would have to say no but with one exception.
If either of the parents are US citizens, then the child is a natural born US citizen even if the child was not born in the US.
