Don't trust these people's opinions, if they knew something they wouldn't be saying you should let him learn his lesson if it's for drunk driving, first of all if it was drunk driving or DUI, obviously he wouldn't have a suspended license, DMV always revokes it under these circumstances, a license gets suspended for not paying insurance at times or even just with not paying the fine such as for not wearing a seat belt, a good friend of mine did that, couldn't pay for a seat belt ticket, and license got suspended, she was in a very difficult financial and medical situation,
So before people judge and tell you to dump him, they should take a good look at themselves for being so quick to judge, if your boyfriend is a habitual offender, (repeat offender) talk to him and tell him to start working hard on getting it together, he needs to learn good habits, it is up to you if you help him or not, I think he can easily get out as he didn't commit a crime, the suspended license will get re-instated soon, suspended just means, it's on hold, waiting to be fixed, it is not something that can't be fixed, they are just waiting for conditions. (It'll take a while though)
Good luck!

I got arrested in Seminole county one time for possesion of marijuana. I was bonded out and got a court date a week later where the judge just told me that it was a $253 fine. I was shocked that there was no substance abuse treatment required.
Why doesn't he have a drivers license? If you bond him out today, it will be money wasted if the judge sentences him to jail time. I would let him wait it out. Then I would make him take the bus to work. The LYNX system is cheap compared to going to jail.

Do not bond him out. He needs some time to think. He sounds like he needs some serious help. Why, is he being so self destructive? What does he gain from breaking the law? If you were my daughter, I would be very concerned about you getting involved with someone who obviously has some serious issues. I would tell you to get a piece of paper out, draw a line down the middle and write down on one side; why you should stay in a relationship with this person, and on the other side why you should end the relationship. I know this is getting off track of your question, but I can't help but sense there are other important issues, you need to address about your relationship with your boyfriend. You sound like a very caring person, but I think you are putting your boyfriends needs ahead of your own. Listen to your inner voice, what are the messages you are getting. Are you following your dreams and steps to achieve your goals in life? Are you really happy in this relationship? Is this relationship promoting your heart, soul and mind? Good luck

You're actually considering bonding him out????
I'd leave him in there to think about his actions for a while.. you could be risking a lot of money on a habitual offender.. he needs to grow up.. let him sort it out himself.. thats a big thing to do for a "boyfriend" husband i might understand the want to do that.. boyfriend.. hah.. leave him in there.. time for the boy to grow up into a man

if you bond him out today he gets out today....If you wait till tomorrow the could ask for a reduce bond infront of the judge or even a personal recondinize bond if he has showed up to all his court cases in the past....

Don't bail him. Jail is the only thing that makes them realize not to keep breaking the law. I don't know in your state but sometimes they leave them free at their own recognition, but that is if he has no criminal record, which driving while suspended is not criminal.

Are you talking about my son? Sounds like him. Hard decision to make. He may run and you lose your bond. Think hard.
