I hope so, but they are still lurking around waiting for their chance to pounce.

Oh, no, it is not finished! The elections and their fall out will give neo-cons 2 more years of great political commentary as they watch the newly elected dems flounder around, try to do things but accomplish little, and get kicked back out of office in 2 years.

David C, PLEASE get an education. Neo-conservatives and conservatives are NOT the same thing. A NEOCON is a moderate and is usually a democrat.
Anyway... Regardless, the answer is no. You gloat, but you watch as you democratic house is forced to work with the president it opposes. If they get nothing done, they lose. If they work WITH Bush instead of against him, they lose... It's a catch 22 for the lunatic left! :D

One can only wish, I'm afraid. As long as there are people like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell around, there will be neocons.

Yes, they self-destructed, but not before they caused tremendous damage to America's defenses and integrity.
May they rot for their evil.

I surely hope so. I am sick of those religious fanatics who seem to think their way is the only way.
