I live in Texas, and the Fort Worth Police Department is hiring for Police Officer Trainees. I think something that I did in my past will hurt me though. It happened when I was 17 years old with a friend. We went to court, received deferred adjudication, community service and then it was done. Do you think this will make them deny me or even consider my application???

Weren't the conservatives saying the same things about womens rights? Blacks being free? Blacks having equal rights?

Same old crap, different bag. Only the conservatives want to go backwards and restrict rights.

Those that have the rights are the ones who want to restrict them for others.

My cross street neighbor rents a room to this girl, and she keeps parking her car on our side right in front of my house instead of park back on her side, that is inconvenient to us. We talked to the neighbor already, and asked her to let the girl know, but today, she just did that again. Any suggestion?

The video in question is the Doubletree hotel video, which government watchdog (sometime propaganda outlet) Judicial Watch says has been promised to them on November 9th.

According to a CNN FOIA request of 2002, a nearby hotel's video DID DID DID capture the impact.

The Doubletree and a Sheraton Hotel are the only hotels within view of the pentagon crash site. The FBI says no Sheraton video exists.

But according to Jacqueline Maguire special agent, counterterrorism division, signed under penalty of perjury (28USCs/s1746) the..."Doubletree hotel video did NOT capture the impact"

So which is it to be? Does a hotel video capture the impact or doesn't it?

On NOV 9, maybe we will find out. Or maybe we will get another grainy, slow-framed video that shows nothing but an explosion.....and no Boeing jet to be found....just like at the crash site.

Ok here is the scoop long story short.
My friends x-girlfriend got pregnant by him,she wanted an abortion,so she got an abortion. She later regrets having the abortion ,she wished that she would have kept the baby.People ask of why the two broke up,He says because she had an abortion,"She aborted his child",so he broke it off.being that she regrets it,when people ask her what happened in the relationship for them two to break up,she is telling everyone that he pushed her down a flight of stairs and she had a mis-carriage.Saying that he killed the child when this never took place. There is proof she had an abortion(Medical Records). The boyfriend owns a local business in town, which may hurt his reputation. Is this name slander, can it be taken to court.

Why is it that the part of Palestine stolen by the jews and renamed Istrael is above criticism? The whole region is predominantly muslim and this jewish state was forced on them after WW2 by the collapsing British Emipire. It is responsible for most of the wars in the world and was a major cause of the tension in the middle east which has created a Terror war. September 11 was a response to US support for this evil nation. Mossad routinely kidnaps people and murders them in direct violation of international law. Even Americans like Terrence Bull. Instead of going after them for it America lets them get away with anything. If any other country butchered American's or bombed US depots then it would be attacked by America. Is it because America sells them billions of dollars worth of Arms? How sickening!

I recieved these 2 jokes from a SSGT in the Airforce in response to some of my jokes and just had to share them with everyone! I don't know his name but I want to give credit where it's due. Hope you find them as funny as I did. Let me know, Thanks.

Mullah Mohammed Hasan Akhund, the deputy Taliban leader, and George W. Bush agree to meet in Kabul for the first round of talks in a new anti-terrorism process. When George sits down, he notices three buttons on the arm of Akhund's chair. They begin talking.

After about five minutes Akhund presses the first button. A boxing glove springs out of a box on the desk and punches Bush in the face. Annoyed, Bush carries on talking as Akhund laughs. A few minutes later the second button is pressed. This time a big boot comes out and kicks Bush in the shin. Again Akhund laughs, and again George carries on talking, not wanting to put off the bigger issue of peace between the two countries. But when the third button is pressed and another boot comes out and kicks Bush square in the privates, he's finally had enough.

"I'm headin' back home!" he calmly tells the Afghan. "We'll finish these talks in Washington in two weeks!"

A fortnight passes and Akhund flies to the United States for talks. As the two men sit down, Akhund notices three buttons on Bush's chair arm and prepares himself for the Texan's retaliation. They begin talking and George presses the first button. Akhund ducks, but nothing happens. George snickers but they continue talking. A few minutes later he presses the second button. Akhund jumps up, but again nothing happens. Bush roars with laughter. They continue the talks but when the third button is pressed, Akhund jumps up again, but again nothing happens.

Bush falls on the floor in a fit of hysterics. "Forget this," says Akhund. "I'm going back to Afghanistan!" George W. says, through tears of laughter, "What Afghanistan?"

I recently moved to a conservative part of the country. Conservative politicians win here and in every area, except one, conservatism is the norm. Any guess what that exception is? Yep, the local papers.

Why is that you think? The answer is not so suprising and is well researched. Go to any University and peek into the Journalism classes. Ask the professor if you can poll the politics of the pimply faced youngsters. No matter what school your at, your looking at 99-100% leftist. However, the reverse is true when you look at hard science majors and business majors.

PEW did 2 studies on political bias in the media, and showed in each, that the journalists are primarily leftists.

Remember your high school paper staff? Were they the beatnickish counter-culture types or kids with chips-on-the-shoulder?

The terrible irony of this is, in journalism, the ideal candidate is someone without an axe to grind, yet leftist swamp journalism hoping they can one day influence public opinion

I gave my 30 day notice at my apartment on October 30th. I have two people that won't leave my apartment. They have been there since October 1st. I moved out October 15th. They said that since they have been residing in the apartment for more than 72 hours, they legally have the right to stay until my 30 day notice is up. (Nov. 30th) They have not paid any rent and are not on the lease. Can I call the police and have them removed for trespassing? Or do they really have the legal right to stay until the end of the month? Are they really considered legal tenants now?
