I would end the relationship, and always wonder what other things I did not know about this person. People who do these heinous things can never really be "friends" with anybody, lest their secrets somehow be discovered. I'm sorry for you if you were duped. It is a real betrayal. Don't blame yourself in any way for not knowing. These people are experts at deception and duplicity. Good riddance is about all you can say.

I would probably feel awful and guilty for not realizing what he was doing and not being able to stop it. But you shouldn't feel that way because it wasn't your fault and I'm assuming you knew nothing about it.
I hope you are no longer friends with this person and never have anything to do with him again. This is not to say that people don't make mistakes and deserve forgiveness, but things like murder, rape, and child molestation are unforgivable. Perhaps looking at child porn could be forgiven, but not the act of molestation.

Why are you even having to ask this question? This is not someone you want for a friend. Besides, just think, if you have kids and are still friends, he can molest your child. Now what do you think? Still want to be friends?

Disgusted...and weary of people I would call friends. Child porn is bad enough...but the molestation is unforgivable! Noone deserves that and there is no reason for it to happen.

Oddly enough a few months back a guy I knew in High School(almost 10 years ago, I hadn't seen or heard of him in the interim)) was busted for just such charges. I was honestly surprised at the nature of the charges. He seemed like a decent guy, although i did foresee prison in his future I saw no signs of this such activity in him then. It just serves to show me that you can never really know people.

I would cut off the relationship. I, myself, was sexually abused for 10 years, so it's a meaninful topic to me. Anyone who abuses a child, or anyone, should live in their own private hell.

If I were a child, and they were older, I would feel curiously molested.
If they were my age, I would feel sorry for them, and hope they could be reformed.
