First and Fifteenth of the month.
If the First or Fifteenth falls on a holiday or weekend, it is the last workday prior to regular payday.

You can elect to get paid at the first of the month or you can have the military pay you twice a month, which will be on the 1st and the 15th. The pay always gets there a day early, depending on your bank.

Why do you ask? Are you in the Army? Does someone in the Army owe you money? Anyway, back, way back then, I used to get paid twice a month.

twice a month. the 1st and 15th day of the month.

all branches are paid the same, .
they pay rate goes by rank, (example an air force airman basic E-1 is equal to army private E-1.)
E= enlisted
O= officer
the same for the officer's they are paid the same an air force Brigadier Gen. = to Army's Brigadier's General

The military will pay your twice a month unless you tell finance differently. The you would get paid once a month and your mid month would say zero dollars.

The automatic deposit system has changed things to some extent. No longer do you stand in line to be handed a stack of one dollar bills on the first and fifteenth. (38 of them if I remember correctly for an Airman Last Class) In todays army you just go on about your business and assume that the deposit got there on time.

Twice a month, although it may be different days than the 1st and the 15th. Depends on which unit you're with.
