Bill Moyers, working for the LBJ campaign, was tasked with locating and exposing homosexuals on Barry Goldwater's campaign team.

Back then, though, the media weren't as eagerly anxious to carry the water.

Why are there so many people in this forum demanding that the Mexicans go home and fix their own government when we can't even do that here at home? What makes you think that it would be so much easier for them to do that than it is for us? Do we believe that Mexicans who come here from below-poverty level standards have more of an influence of their government officials than those of us in the middle-to-upper class category do on our officials here in the USA?

If you feel this way towards Mexicans please provide some suggestions that you think would work for Mexicans to try to fix their governement. They've already tried voting in a new party when they put Fox in office. The party before Fox had been in office for 70 years. So obviously the voting for different leaders hasn't worked.

This appeared today in the New York Times in a story about an American medic:

Petty Officer Kirby began to list the schools he had attended to be ready for this moment. Some he had paid for himself, he said, to be extra-prepared.
In one course, an advanced trauma treatment program he had taken before deploying, he said, the instructors gave each corpsman an anesthetized pig.
“The idea is to work with live tissue,” he said. “You get a pig and you keep it alive. And every time I did something to help him, they would wound him again. So you see what shock does, and what happens when more wounds are received by a wounded creature.”
“My pig?” he said. “They shot him twice in the face with a 9-millimeter pistol, and then six times with an AK-47 and then twice with a 12-gauge shotgun. And then he was set on fire.”
“I kept him alive for 15 hours,” he said. “That was my pig.”
“That was my pig,” he said.

Are you outraged about such cruelty to animals? Or, do you think it is justifiable?

The top religous adviser to our president quits after it's alleged he is against gay marriage but apparently is for having gay sex with a male prostitute.

Chief party antagonist Rush Limbaugh parodies a crippling disease and an American icon, Michael J. Fox.

Chief party female/male antagonist Ann Coulter votes repeatedly in the same election.

We have no plan in Iraq and our soldiers are dying daily and no end to this senseless war is in sight.

Should we start to accept that we brought this on ourselves???

Should we just turn over the keys to the house and the senate and hope that a combined effort of world leaders, minus our chief twit could start to reverse the horrible course that has been charted in the past five years?

I work at a market research company and I call hundreds and hundreds of people and do political surveys. I've noticed a HUGE difference between Democrats and Republicans.
I'm not a political person, I don't follow politics, so this is just an honest question.

Why is it that democrats are more likely to vote for the person based on what the person has to say, and what they believe.. While on the other hand, republicans seem to vote republican no matter what, even if they don't know the issues or what the person stands for, they just vote republican.
You wouldn't believe how many people I've heard southern republicans say "I support bush and I think he's the best president ever, I vote straight republican no matter what!"

Why???

Why are republicans so downright stubborn and blind?

my husband is a cna, and he was transferring someone who was in a shower chair into his wheelchair and the resident decided he was just going to sit down even before the wheelchair was near him and my husband had to quickly get a grip on him so he wouldnt fall. he had 2 people that saw this happen and confirm that it wasnt his fault.. and therefore he pulled his back muscle really bad and was put on light duty, now he's on some stupid muscle relaxer cause doctors are ******* stupid..

anyway, he's been working at this place for about a month- and i dont know what the regular policy for workers comp is, but they're only giving him 50% of his pay until he's better because he got hurt.

I think it's because they don't want to find him. The Bush regime needs someone for the people to fear...also the Bush/ Bin Laden family connections/financial ties...
Personally, I think if he does get caught, it will probably be right before Bush's term ends. It will all be staged, much like 9/11.

SEATTLE - A school bus driver fired after she reportedly made an obscene gesture at President Bush has filed a union grievance in an attempt to get her job back.

The 43-year-old driver, whose name was not released, was driving middle school children back to school after a zoo visit on June 16 when the president and Republican Rep. Dave Reichert drove slowly by in a motorcade

That’s when the driver gave the president the finger, according to Reichert and Issaquah superintendent Janet Barry.

“The congressman hadn’t seen it, but the president turned to him and said, ‘That one’s not a fan,”’ said Reichert spokeswoman Kimberly Cadena.

I'm becoming very confused by all of this. If the leader of the church, Ted H. was advising my president on matters such as a constitutional ammendment to ban gay marriage, while at the same time he was paying a male prostitute to have sex with him, doesn't that mean that the leader of this church really is for gay marriage?

Can someone help me straighten this out? Wouldn't gay marriage have been preferrable to gay prostitution???

There are several states considering bills which would force governments to compensate land owners if their land was devalued after a rezoning effort, or if they declare the land unfit to build on due to wetlands, etc.

Here's our states effort:
