The military knows why they are in Iraq. How come the Democrats don't?

Democrats aren't against the military (that's crazy)--my families are Democrats and most of the men and some of the women in my families have/are serving in the military (both enlisted and officer).
Clinton closed the bases based on the military recommendation and because we had too many bases, and to save America some tax paying money.
It was a good idea to consolidate some of our bases. There are more closures on Bush Jr's list then Clinton. And, both are doing it for the same reasons.
A few bases were closes because the state or city didn't want them. Myrtle Beach, SC was one of them. They didn't want the base because of the noise pollution, and because they felt it hindered tourism. :(

Some times it's better to spend money to make country economically strong. The money that is spent on military, if part of it can be spent on making American living better then why not?

The main reason is: the Democrats want to destroy the sovereignty of the USA.... they envision a socialist world government.

He totally screwed the military in his time we didnt get paid crap, he was a good pres, but hey

Lets see guns=military bad and also about the whole peaceful thing, yes make love not war right? Thank god we don't have hippy tree huggers as our presidents, cause you know they would have gone and hugged Hitler and given him flowers

he wanted to create a 'surplus', so he took out things that weren't important, like protection for our country, and education funding for our children.

THEY ARE AGAINST ILLGEGAL MILITARY USE.
