Personally i think there are two types of heros. They are both in the military. One that dies, and one that lives that has seen death. The one that died payed the ultimate price for his country and can give nothing more, his/her family will miss them for the rest of their lives but can do nothing to bring them back. The ones that have seen death are heros because they have mentally dealt with the fact that their buddys/comrades have died. The things that the soldiers see in wars stay in their mind for an eternity and people think that it goes away, but it doesnt. How can you deal with seeing your best friend killed right in front of your face? Can you immagine that they spend all their lives together, played video games as kids, and then decided to join the military to serve their country. Thats why it bothers me so much to see kids not stand for the pledge of allegiance in high school. They dont know the price that our country pays to keep it free, puts the national debt small...

Lemming Master Says: "Everyone knows that if we leave Iraq, not only will that country have little hope of regaining any form of stability, we will likely destabilize the entire region," he said. So the current turmoil reflects the "recognition in all policy circles that we are about to enter a new phase."

Logic says: The war cannot be won for the simple reason that all of the stated objectives were lies.
We cannot rid Iraq of weapons of mass destruction because they did not have any.

We cannot harm Al Qaeda by attacking Iraq because Iraq was already an enemy of Al Qaeda.

We cannot punish Iraq for 9-11 because Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11.

Therefore, victory in terms of the publicly stated objectives is impossible. WE cannot win this war. We can only lose it, which is exactly what Bush is doing right now.

Quite interesting is how everyone debates about illegal aliens being allowed in etc. Did everyone forget that everyone living in the usa (except american indians) are foreigners? Now that i reminded everyone of that... why give new immigrants such a hard time? They're just looking for a better life! and i think most do have good intentions to help build our communities...

I believe that if all the astronomical amounts of money from ALL the countries going towards weapons, wages for the millitary, buildings, intelligence(!) etc, was spent on satisfying all people's basic needs (including the need to have a good time), there would be no need for wars (of all kinds, including totally unacceptable violent ways of protest resaulting in loss of lives). Happy people would be too busy being happy, or, perhaps, solving their personal relationship problems. I vote for further social education for our politicians. Do you? If yes, why not do something about it?
Think again....Trillions and Trillions of Dollars, Euros, Yens etc.

I do not know what the Irish call the equivalent of our SIN. I want to apply for the number required, from Canada, rather than moving to Ireland and having to do it there. All my documentation is in order. I would prefer to do the paperwork here in Canada.
Thank you.

“The events of September 11 were ordered by U.S. [officials] and Mossad so that they could carry out their strategy of pre-emption and warmongering and unipolarisation in order to dominate the Middle East”, Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi told military commanders on Tuesday. His comments were reported by the state-run news agency ISNA.

"Evidence linking these Israelis to 9/11 is classified. I cannot tell you about evidence that has been gathered. It's classified information." -- US official quoted in Carl Cameron's Fox News report on the Israeli spy ring and its connections to 9-11.

"I think there is very compelling evidence that at least some of the terrorists were assisted not just in financing -- although that was part of it -- by a sovereign foreign government... It will become public at some point when it's turned over to the archives, but that's 20 or 30 years from now."
-- Senator Graham as quoted in Senator: At Least One Foreign Country Assisted the 9/11 Terrorists

How many of you - civilians - have actually seen a war? Do you know what you are talking about? Have you smelled burning flesh, have you experienced terror, anger, rage and insanity of it firsthand? Have you ever buried your brother (whatever left of him in a zinc coffin) when he was only 18?

To all you military guys - I respect you and applaud you, I support you because this is what you do, this is your job. You are my brothers too.

To all those who asked is I would defend my country - we shall yet to see who will be first with their rifle!
