The war in Iraq is an unjust, illegal and unconstitutional invasion of another sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the U.S.A.
The nameless, faceless wealthy elitists, military-industrial complex war-mongers, war profiteers, oil company executives, and big business interests that really control this country from behind-the-scenes conned Bush into declaring this so-called 'war'. Bush did it for two reasons of influence: 1) His family has had a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein since the days of Desert Storm when George H.W. Bush was accused of not 'finishing the job' and taking out Hussein; 2) Dick Cheney wants all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands so that he and his buddies at Exxon-Mobil can get richer and richer and richer.
Bush, his administration, his handlers, and all 535 members of the most arrogant, incompetent, cowardly, contemptible, corrupt Congress in U.S. history deserve to be tried for high crimes against humanity in an international tribunal then tried for high treason in a U.S. court. If convicted, they should all face a public firing squad. -RKO-

I think the war in Iraq is not right. The war is not justified as there was no reason for the war. Saddam Hussain had no links with the terrorist. Further, the intelligence reports about his weapons of mass destruction were not correct. So the war was based on reports which were wrong.
Thus there is no justification for this War.

At this point we just need to finish the job right this time! The Iraqies have the right to be a free people. The educated Iraqies know this, want it and need us. Some day hopefully they can live as well as the other nations in the region like Kuwait. At peace with the world and rich.

Yes, we are doing the right thing by helping Iraq's government defend itself from Islamists trying to take over the country. In the parts of Iraq where the Islamists are not fighting, the people are prosperous and doing well.
We failed to do so in Afghanistan during the 1990s and look what happened. I would hate to see Iraqis suffer the same fate.
Besides, the Geneva Conventions require we provide this military support until Iraq can defend itself against the Islamists. Since we won the war against Saddam's regime, we now have to help with internal security while we train their police and military. It would definitely be WRONG to refuse to do so.

It started out to be right but right now its leaning toward the not right side. They ran a plane into the twin towers so we complain about it, then when we do something about it people still complain. my god people. Your not over there so dont act like you know whats happening when you dont. "Killing innocent women and children" thats a bunch of bs if you ask me. How the hell would you know if your not over there?

Do you think fighting terrorists here w/ unarmed women, children, and the elderly, is better than fighting them w/ our well armed soldiers over there?
If you count the dead soldiers, shouldn't you also count the thousands of terrorists or would be terrorists who have been killed or imprisoned? And should you not consider the many terrorist plots that have been thwarted by our interrogations of these prisoners?

The war in Iraq was in the right direction but most would probably agree that things have been really goofed up.

Yes, I do think it's right, and I'd say that even if I wasn't in Iraq right now.
It's funny how no one complains of our continued presence in Korea, Germany, and Japan. Saddam Hussein needed to be removed. Unfortunately it wasn't as simple as just ousting him.

War is only right when you are defending yourself. I didn't quite catch it on CNN when the Iraqi navy bombed Pearl Harbor. LOL!
